Henderson County, now ranked 82. They moved up from 103 according to MaxPreps. I’m sure their information is incomplete, giving them a lower ranking than what they’d otherwise have with complete info, but my point stands. Sacred Heart is unquestionably the 3rd best team in the state, and isn’t in this tournament.

Also.... are we sure we’re deciding the state championship the right way when the #3 team is at home and the #103 team is in the tournament?

Mercy can probably keep it close. Assumption has too many guns and plays defense too well for anyone else to compete.

Agreed. The Pandas looked great, and the event was better than ever! Gormally came out and helped set the tone with some monster swings and blocks. This was a huge team win, every player stepped up and did their part. On to Louisville tomorrow to face the best team in the country!

I don’t know enough about Mother McAuley this year to say definitively one way or the other.... but I do know St. Henry has the talent. If they play well, they can win that pool. Same thing about The Webb School for NDA, I don’t know anything about them (except they have some kids that play club for K2, so they’re probably pretty good). If NDA can win their pool, they’ll most likely get Assumption first thing Saturday morning! Ryle will definitely need their best effort for Dublin Coffman, but crazier things have happened! Hoping for NKY to make a strong showing!

St Henry has a brutal week. Assumption on Tuesday, Ursuline on Thursday, Mercy McAuley and Centerville on Saturday.
