Wonder all you want Old Guy. I'm just telling you that a lot of the stats that they post are incorrect. These stats don't even come from the specific teams that any of the kids play on. You are reading way to much into this....Lol!!! I hope every kid shots 100% and they never miss a shot... Are you happy now!!!!

Didn't say at all that someone is fudging numbers. As far as CJ is concerned, I hope he is very successful at whatever school that he chooses. I just know from a reliable source that a lot of the stats that they post for players are inaccurate. Take it however you wish.

Just an FYI. That stats that they post are not very accurate. Some of the stats could be better or worse.

On some high school teams in the state they run there whole offense through their one star player and they are always looking to get their own shot. I don't blame the player, I blame the coaches for not teaching them the right way to play the game, especially some of these guards. They need to start learning how to be so unselfish and learning how to kick the ball out to open shooters because they won't be getting those shots off against taller college kids. And while I'm at it, please quit bombing NBA threes. Just because you are open doesn't mean it is a good shot.

The reason why is because there was a lot of forced shots last night. Some just want to get their points and not play good fundamentals basketball. A lot of drives to the rim by the Jr. team that could have been kicked out for better open looks. But, I guess that's what you get with all star games

I don't think his opinion is laughable. I have never seen him play, but he is going there as a walk on. He may never see the floor only at mop up time. I hope that he proves Wildcatfan25 wrong and all other naysayers. That will be up to Austin to prove that he is D1 worthy or not. Best of luck to him and I hope that he can earn himself a scholarship.

That's right, we all have our own opinions. You obviously have a connection with Dontaie and I am merely a third party observer. Sometimes people associated with certain kids do not like to hear the truth. He needs to work on being more physical which you cannot teach and creating shots against equally talented and same height players. You saying that 22 would have went 4-0 with him playing his so-called true position speaks volumes about you. Some kids need to be knocked back down a notch and told the truth about their game instead of being caudled and told they are the best thing since sliced bread. Can't wait to see Dontaie's improvement the next two years and be a monster on the court.

The FACTS are that he was not mentally or physically ready to compete at that level. Not a knock on him because he is a great player at the level that he should be playing at. Needed to be way more physical on defense and needs to work on creating to get a shot off against equally sized players. AGAIN, the kid is a great player but any realistic person watching the games could see that he is not ready for the 17U Adidas Gauntlet Circuit.

Had nothing to do with a lot of mouths to feed. He simply is not ready mentally or physically to compete at that level yet.

What position or positions does he play in football?

I would like to see how some of the top players in NKY would do if they played on teams that ran their offenses solely through them. I always see these kids in the more southern part of the state and mountain schools putting big scoring #'s every night. That would not happen if they played for Cov Cath or Cooper.

Cangratulations to Sean McNeil and Adam Kunkel from Cooper. I'm sure they would be the first to say that they could not of accomplished this without the total TEAM play of the Jags.
