So moving to the 8th region is why the talent has been bad even though their school boundaries didn't change?
SK didn't move to 8th Region, the 8th Region moved to them.
I thought it lost most of it's glamour around 2012. A lot of problems going on down there. Buddy Biggs IMO helped bring Ashland back and will with Mason County.
Congratulations you get to play sports in college! Oh yeah you're also graduating $100,000 in debt..
You have to look long-term. These kids will be paying off student loans till they are 50 just to say they played college sports. Is it really worth it?
Schools that have good football teams usually have good baseball teams.
And schools that are good at football and baseball are usually bad at basketball. Because winter is weightlifting time for the other sports.
I am happy for kids that get to continue playing a sport they love regardless of the level a competition.
Yes, I agree with the point that signing ceremonies should only be for those receiving athletic scholarships.
Why doesn't Dontaie Allen just tweet "I am not moving." to put an end to a rumor and speculation that has affected his team most of his career? If he indeed in fact not moving.
A lot of people hate Covington Catholic, sorry. I am a fan of small town basketball. You go to the school that's in your city and represent them well. Not sell out. They are the Duke of Kentucky High School Basketball, and that's just the way it is.
Also coaches voting for these kind of awards can sometimes be sketchy. You don't think they talk to other coaches and say "Hey if you vote for this kid on my team I'll vote for this kid on your team."
