You should also, if you can, try to catch Mercer County at Lincoln County on Tuesday 2/7. This, I believe, will be an outstanding game! As far as this on tonight between AC and Lincoln, I agree it could be a blowout if the Bearcats don't bring their A game!

I'm not sure about high school, but I can remember in 1997, UK had this happen, I think, and Derek Anderson, who had not played b/c of a knee injury, came in to shoot. This might have been a technical tho.... my mind is not as sharp as it once was. I'm pretty sure Rick Pitino pick him to be the shooter

I think BG will face the 12th in round 2. I'm a 12th guy, so take that for what it's worth. That being said, I'm not sure there will be a better regional in the state than you will see from the 12th. IMO you have 4 really strong teams at the top, any one of which could win it. Not to mention a couple on down the standings, that could throw a wrench in things.

West also beat Mercer at West and for the life of me, I can't understand how they can beat two teams that imo are much better teams and then loose some of the games they've lost. Pre season I felt like West Jess would probably be around the 4th or 5th best in the 12th, but outside of the two games I mentioned, they certainly have not live up to those expectations!

Boyle is definitely better than this game suggests. Hopefully they will bounce back strong.
