Players should be required to go to school where they are districted, if that's the county rule...which is Bo. Co. Kenton is open enrollment... The fact remains...this is HS sports & only a very small % will play beyond HS...so parents need to be realistic & look at the bigger picture... Transferring kid from CC to Cooper, HHS to Ryle then back to HHS, HC to Cooper.... really when these guys graduate let's look at it & then discuss how these transfers really mean nothing for the kids future in 99% of cases.

Exactly what I've heard. Good coaching staff w/ lack of leadership @ top, didn't want to put time in practicing them & laziness. I hope the JV coach returns, takes the job. This talented group & awesome school pride, just needs a head coach that wants to put in 110% into the program. Jags baseball deserve better than they've had! Best wishes for this baseball program!

I agree. 2nd,3rd string will be in prior to the half & running clock. Hopefully, Jags can @ least score & not end up w/a goose egg on the scoreboard... CCH won't take it easy on the Jags after losing in region finals last yr in BB & Cooper finishing state runner-ups. It's going be an ugly night for Cooper.

Agreed...Jags D stopped NCC up the middle. Collins is quick & ran the ball well. Fb did nice job blocking too. Jags O & D line looked good being undersized. Look for some of lineman be playing varsity!

I'd love to see Cooper beat, Ryle, Bo.co., Conner, Dixie & Campbell. The fact remains. 1. Ryle & Conner ranked above Jags. 2. Jags MUST stop 5-6 TO's a game...no team can pull Wins w/ that many TO's. 3. O & D line must play better 4.QB position still up for grabs 5. Middle LB's can't continue to allow 150+ yrds a game up the middle. Yes, Borchers made some key changes, yet still very much a work in progress. If the upperclassmen can't produce...which some are struggling, he's going need to take this year as work in progress & bring up the younger guys & see if they can prove themselves. All in all would like to see Jags end up w/4W's, yet 2 seems way more realistic vs (Bo.Co & Dixie). Again, did see some positive changes, yet TO's still way too many for Jags to be successful!

Mix for what? Cooper may beat Boone & Dixie for 2 Win season... If they beat any other team on schedule, it will be a miracle!

Could of should of would of...NCC ran the ball up the middle w/ease. Jag turnovers were huge & sacks in backfield.

Idk...I suspect some LB changes made by Cooper. Hopefully, will utilize D. Perry's speed @ receiver too.

Exactly... But remember dad is varsity coach and NO boy in bo. Co. In 25 yrs has ever had the opportunity to move up from 8th grade... I could name several in the past 25 yrs not given the opportunity!
