Rough night for the Royals so far

Mason playing GREAT basketball the past 2 weeks, I don't think they have as much trouble penetrating the defense as some people think, but they will definitely need to be on their A game in this one. Ill take the Royals by 8

Personally think Matt Wilson and Pig are the top 2 players in the region right now with Crawford, Garrard, Allen, and Ohmer closely following

I think the Players list is a little off in this post IMO

I saw a Mason County team that didn't show up and decide to play until the 4th quarter, but at the end of the day Mason still won. What I am saying is if you take Garrard off of the Paris team, then you're in the same boat as a Campbell without Wilson, Mason without Pig, Scott without Ohmer, etc.

Personally don't believe there is a single team in the Region who if you take their best player off are going able to compete with the other top teams.

I agree, but Paris not having Garrard in that game is probably the main reason. All together a great job in the rankings

If they get to play the game on Tuesday they will have a chance to continue it @ Brossart, also host Pendleton on Friday.

The thing a lot of people will miss is Walker scored 25, but Pig switches onto Walker in the 4th quarter and holds him scoreless the rest of the game. A great all around performance for one of the top players in the 10th.

Like said earlier, the Mason County freshman team has several younger kids on the team. And also one of the best freshman in the region plays valuable varsity minutes this season.

The thing I have a hard time understanding is Bracken has had one district win this season, and that was a game they barely escaped @ St.Pat, now I could see Bracken or St. Pat win their first game and make regionals.. But Augusta and Mason County have to be the favorites coming in, both teams are playing really good ball and I would love to see another Mason/Augusta matchup before Augusta's extremely talented seniors graduate.

Bailey will win it, mainly because she is a senior and there aren't any other seniors putting up those kind of numbers. Its a shame that only seniors can win this, a Campbell vs Mason rematch with multiple players having a chance to win POY would be an interesting game IMO

This team thrives in the postseason, shouldn't be much of a test but you never know, stranger things have happened.

He is by far the best true point guard in the region, watching him play 3 straight days in the Murph Classic and everyday he seemed to get better. He made plays and hit shots when he needed to. It's more than just the stats to me, it's how you carry yourself but also make your teammates better and I've only seen 2 players in the region do that this season: Caswell Fuller and Pig Williams, and both of these players are extremely overlooked.

It seems that there is a HUGE lack of discipline across the state according to past few years. There have been several instances of player violations that go unpunished. It's more than just the Mason County situation which was handled earlier this year, and only 2 of those players still remain on the varsity squad.
