  1. Imonte Owsley — 6 receptions, 115 yards, 2 TDs; 5 rushes, 71 yards, 1 TD I'm impressed with the debut of Warren at QB. Crazy to see QB stats like this for an Owensboro team! Will Warren — 18-31, 254 yards, 5 TDs
  2. Not sure. He was still out last night which makes 3 games although he has been out of the sling the past 2 weeks. I heard that it was a torn labrum.
  3. People keep saying that but honestly I don't see that much improvement and I go to every OHS game. Yes, going back to the veer has helped them on offense but the play calling is still stubborn at times. Defense will still struggle against a good passing team. The disappointing trips to El Donaldson are getting old. I want them to go down there and give BG a game just as bad as anybody but realistically this is not the OHS team to do it. Call me a downer but I'm just calling it how I see it. BG 42-OHS 14
  4. Last I heard was 33-0 OC. Unsure of time
  5. Mundy still out so that hurts. We'll find out how much shortly.
  6. This should be a very good game. I don't know much about Greenwood other than they fact that they won or lost to common opponents in the same fashion as OHS. The offensive changes that OHS has made I think suits them better but the play calling can still be questionable at times IMO. The problem with OHS still lies with the young defense, specifically the backfield. If Greenwood has a good QB as mentioned above, it could be trouble for OHS as they really seem to struggle against the pass. In a close one, I still like OHS surviving at least one more week. 24-21
  7. Running clock in 1st half. Currently 64-14 Devils in the 4th
  8. Typical Owensboro football...
  9. Wish it could be closer but on D Owensboro is no where near prepared for what they will see tomorrow night and the offense still hasn't got in a groove. BG-49 OHS-14
  10. Not many. OHS had a bigger cheer squad.
  11. Unfortunately someone for WC was just taken off on a stretcher. Not sure of the number but he took a huge hit on a WC kickoff. Looked to be out cold as they took him off. Prayers go out.
  12. I don't know what WC looks like this year but if they have any speed and a passing game OHS could be in for a game. I know it was just a scrimmage last week but what I saw didn't impress me. The basically new defense for OHS has got a lot of work to do if they want to keep teams from putting up points. Even with Board in the backfield I'm not sure the offense can put up the numbers they will need to overcome the defensive growing pains. Hope I'm wrong but time will tell. I'll still be there every Friday cheering them on. Edit - So from the above posts maybe we roll this week. We'll call that more of a seasonal outlook.
  13. Wish I could watch 2 games at once but I'll be at Rash. Much respect to Mayfield, they've earned it, but OC by 2 scores
  14. Watching a war at Rash stadium. OHS vs Bowling Green
  15. OHS in the victory formation and will run out the clock. Should leave no doubt that they are among the best in 5A. FINAL 49-24 Owensboro
  16. CC running TD, still can't convert the 2pt conversion. 49-24 OHS 1:06 4th
  17. Not bad when he has time to throw but OHS has been in the backfield all night. Could have avoided some sacks if he would get rid of the ball.
  18. 2nd stringers in for the Devils
  19. OHS backs running all over this CC defense. Tj James adds another TD for the Devils. Pat good. 49-18 OHS 7:59 4th
  20. CC not laying down as they put together a nice scoring drive. 2pt conversion again no good. 42-18 OHS 0:38 3rd
