Boyle County at Boyd County Predictions/Updates
Hatz replied to WestDanville's topic in KY Football (High School)
The chippiness has been there but after it was 28-7 it hasn’t been as competitive -
I’ve seen this Bowl idea mentioned. the old CKC experimented with that from around 75-79. First two games were well attended and exciting. Last 2 years we’re not. No one wanted to play in it by 79. Too anti-climatic.

I'm sorry, but Levis looks like a shell of himself pre-SEC. Draw any conclusions and it's probably a culmination of reasons

I watched the video and surely there had to be more. The opening fight in the clip looked like two fans or maybe two coaches going at it. I really didn't see a lot of stuff between the players. In fact it was a lot more tame than say the post game fight a few years ago after the title match between Corbin and Central.

35-21 on one of the coldest nights I can recall. Ask Rebel. -

For 2 consecutive years, Lexington Catholic only lost 2 games each year. (1999-2000) All four losses were to, Boyle County. -
I'm assuming the "1" in front of Boyle's rpi score is a mistake. Shouldn't that be a "0" like everyone else?
-
How big of a factor would a win over Frederick Douglas be to the RPI rankings?
-
You might be right. But it's for certain Boyle would have to win out to probably have a higher RPI now since all the games but one are the same District opponents. I'm a little more concerned about the history aspect. Since 1998 the earlier post is true.

I'm pretty sure the called back TD took a lot of time off the clock and only left :08. There may have been one more play out of bounds for about 5 or so yards.
-
Additional play. LC picked it off at the 8 or so and that was the game. Rebel receiver never got set and the penalty was correct. Wiped out a perfect TD pass and run by Quisenberry. They have to find ways to get him more touches.
-
Cost them if they were to meet again in the playoffs. LC would have home field. Another tidbit. The team that won the regular season matchup, has always won the rematch if they met again in the playoffs. EVERY TIME.

You aren't alone and I watched the whole game.

Knights earned the victory. Boyle stopped playing but the Knights did not.

Unless I'm mistaken, and I often can be, this loss won't have a bearing on RPI because it is an out of state game. -
Henderson County at Boyle County Predictions/Updates

Why would you do that? -
Because of their past relationship with Mercer County Athletics.

Someone on Twitter reported that the August 6th Scrimmage for Trinity has been filled by Boyle County. Don't know how official that is. -
Sad to hear. He will be greatly missed.
