Easy to blame the coach. It's still a team effort. Ever since Ryles loss two weeks ago the team needs to kick it back up a notch. You can't coach kids if they don't have the drive or desire to win, even after a loss. Especially if any of them want to play college.
Ryle has 3 good running backs. Mid season I saw England go up the middle on 1st and 15 for 11 yards carri g half an offensive line. Run hard and defense will tire.
Will be a good game. Engler went 5-7 in his first year last year. Better than the previous 2-3 seasons. They are already 6-1 this season. They continue to improve. I think they are building a much more solid team for the future. You got to consider prior to last year Ryle had only been about a 50% winning team since the school opened.
Ryle averaging over 45 points on offense and only giving up 17 on defense. Big game for Ryle and a win gives them home field advantage in the playoffs. A lot at stake Friday night. Ryle's defense will need to be great in the first half as they can't afford to get behind this team.
Rules coming into their own with an offense avg of 44 point avg and a defense only giving up 18 point average. Will be good games with Cooper and Simon Kenton coming up.
24-7 second half score. If this team doesn't score big in the first half which they did in two games, the adjust and get it done big time in the second half. They've done that twice this year. Team is maturing.
Yea, but we need to secure the win early. Never count out an under dog. 3-0 record would be the best start since 1998, 17 years. Great start to the year. Team is coming together and gel, and learning to adjust. 2nd half adjustments on defense last week went a long way to winning the game.
