Wow, 16 three point attempts? I've heard the Conner coach let's her shoot away whenever. She connected on 3-4 in our game, but only shot 7-8 times. But her overall 3pt percentage isn't amazing, last season she shot less than 30% according to khsaa stats, so I wonder why a coach would let a player go 4/16 like that? Doubt she shoots many free throws either during the season, slashing to the basket, that's not something she could probably do well. As you mentioned Jordan and Burcham are slashers for Conner, they are harder to stay in front of. Conner was impressive in their overall talent, a lot of good players. CC didn't have the depth to stay with them. But our younger talent is coming along, by the end of the season we will be able to compete with most teams and challenge for the regional title.

Heard tonight Maddie Scherr broke her wrist in their last game. Out 6-8 weeks. Any chance Ryle had might be gone with that injury.

Great start for the Lady Camels! Were in control and strong the whole game. Franklin County will be a real test though, but a chance to show that belong with top teams.

Campbell is good enough to be top 20 in the state on Bluegrasspreps poll but is number 7 in NKY? Campbell should be in the top 5 easy. Scott should be higher too.

Interesting results. Not wanting to start a region vs region argument but this poll seems a little off balance towards the 9th. Maybe since the NKY schools are mostly 9th region coaches then the 9th teams get more votes than the others?

Interesting. Besides Simon Kenton possibly, and maybe Holmes, who else do you see them losing too? 8-2, possibly 9-1 seems more reasonable here. Seems like the 9th is pretty down this year. No offense to anyone, just reading through threads and what I know about players.

Post your commits? What does that even mean? I'm not even a coach? And if you think you don't "sell" your players your crazy. I don't say "selling" in a bad way! I would argue it's your job and why Premier is the program it is. Clearly Premier is the top girls program in the state, because you and your coaches have done an excellent job recruiting and selling top players. I'm sure selling the top girls is easy, they sell themselves. But every time you get a decent girl a D2 opportunity that's a success in your program. And that's something Premier should be proud of. If my daughter played for you I would EXPECT you to do everything you could to get my daughter the best opportunity possible. All this has little to do with the girls in the 10th though!

This is not an indictment on you or your program. Nor am I doubting your expertise when it comes to girls playing in college. But you still didn't answer my question: what position do you see a 5'8" average speed, average ball handler and below average 3pt shooter playing at a high D1 college? Given UKs suspect exodus I would imagine they have a lot of offers out there right now. My only point was that you were painting a grander picture than seems real. The boasting of your grand history with other girls doesn't change my thought on that. She's your girl, it's your job to sell her. I would also argue that you have seen the girls in your program more than some of us, but we have seen all the girls in the 10th more than you have. And we have seen them play against each other a lot. Our opinions are not invalid because you have coached high level girls for 6 years. I only argued that Igo should be #8 instead of #5. And because you like Igo and have seen Igo a lot makes me wrong? That doesn't make sense. Come watch 25-30 games in the 10th and then maybe.

Also for Gold Sunrise since he asked first. I believe a couple players (like Schwarber) are better, but to be clear I think Igo is a great player. She's only a freshman and I think most everyone would agree she is a top 10 player in the region, including me. I've seen Igo play several times, both games and scrimmages. Here's my thoughts: First, Igo lacks the ht to be anything but a 1 or 2. She's 5'7", maybe 5'8" tops. She is a hold back so I don't see her getting any taller. She is not super quick or incredible at ball handling like the best 1's. She's not a pure shooter either, in fact, I would say her 3pt shot was a weaker part of her game. The best 2's are great shooters. You mention all this college attention, but phone calls and visits are different than offers, you never mentioned an actual high D1 offer she has? From our experience every phone call from a coach ends with an invitation to visit. I'm not saying these schools don't have Igo on their radar, I'm just saying you seem to be building it up to be more than it really is. Given my observations I listed, what position do you see her playing at a high D1 college? PG? 2G? Where she is now; ht, speed, quickness, ball handling and shooting; it's hard to imagine. Please hear me say though, Igo is really good and I definitely believe she will play D1 somewhere. She is really aggressive, plays really hard. Is a good defender (but lacks D1 quickness IMO). She has a great pull up jumper (that would be difficult to pull off D1 because of her ht). Her team needed her to score (lots of short shots) last year so she did. Igo is clearly a hard working kid who will get her college paid for playing basketball. As I said she is clearly in the top 10 in the region, and only a freshman! I think very highly of her as a player. Right now there are a couple other girls in the region I would take ahead of her. But not many!

I know Sivils and have seen her play. I have seen a couple but not many of the other girls on this list. It's hard to imagine a D1 scholarship player as good as she is, is not top 10 in her region. So will all 10 of these girls play D1 and at a HIGHER D1 than Sivils?

It hasn't been easy to find a list or roster of the two Kentucky Premier EYBL teams but I have seen some. I'm sure if you find out who her coach was that would answer the question. The EYBL coaches are Parmley and Milby.

My understanding is that there are many Kentucky Premier teams. But only two EYBL Kentucky Premier teams that are "considered Kentuckys top team (s)". I have seen lists of the girls on these teams and the name you mentioned wasn't there. Other than these EYBL teams I think anyone can play on a Kentucky Premier team.

So when you say "She played on Kentucky's top AAU team this past summer in the state and also in Nashville and Atlanta" you mean she played for the Kentucky Premier EYBL 17u team?

Are you saying I thought they "got it so wrong"? Who said that? I clearly stated I thought Schwarber should be #5 instead of #8, and that Igo should move down to around #9 or #10. Maybe put McNutt on the list. If anything the coaches did an excellent job. That's barely a difference. As RCC9 said, a player like Schwarber doesn't get recognized sometimes but even the coaches knew she should be on the list.

I completely disagree. Last year Schwarber was All Conference Defensive player of the year. She had a double double in the first round of the state tournament. She is ranked in the top 100 players in KY by Bolus. She plays on one of the top AAU travel teams in Kentucky. She has visited D1 schools (invited by coaches) and has serious interest from them. I don't imagine many people (if any) who have seen Schwarber and any of the other girls from Nicholas, Bracken or Harrison play would think differently.

This is compiled from the 10th region coaches I believe. So it seems they agree with me also.

I've seen all these girls play. So it is just my opinion. Schwarber is right behind Clos IMO (#5) when I look at this list. Igo is too high for the same reason I mentioned earlier with Kalb.
