  1. Live stream available at the Pegasus Sports Network with our own @ColonelMike on the play by play.
  2. Dunbar keeping pace with the Indians. We're tied up at 14. Under 2:00 in the 1st.
  3. Berger houses one from 77 yards. His second touchdown of the night. 13-0 Beechwood 2:04 in the 1st
  4. Brock Eads of MC ties it at 7 on a 16 yard touchdown run. 8:00 in the 1st.
  5. We have confirmation from the Beechwood radio crew that we will see Antonio Robinson Jr. in action tonight.
  6. Beechwood won the poll 47-0. Not even a single Paintsville homer was willing to get on here and vote for them.
  7. Audio only. https://mixlr.com/beechwood-sports-radio-network/
  8. This one will be available to stream at team1sports.com, for a fee.
  9. Both lost a ton of talent and production. I'll be a homer here and take the Spartans because my faith in Brandon Smith and his staff is complete and total. Regardless of how poorly Highlands looked last week, I never expected a 49-0 margin shortly after halftime. South Warren was well prepared. I expect the same this week.
  10. Week 2's Mr. Football Spotlight Games Pikeville vs. CovCath - Birchfield looks to get on track after a slow start that snapped a streak of 14 straight games with at least 100 yards. Male vs. Ballard - Conversely, Swinney looks to continue his fast start against a team he punished last year. Simon Kenton vs. Highlands - Can Crone throw his name in the hat, or will the clock strike Noon? Hopkinsville vs. Mayfield - Daisjaun Mercer doesn't get a mulligan for last week, but going off on Mayfield would be the next best thing.
  11. Keeping with my analogy, that would make them the Justice League. So Trinity would be more like Batman (the loner) than Superman.
  12. If there's been a "kryptonite" to Trinity's "Superman" over the last quarter century, it's the GCL South - Moe, Elder, St. X, and La Salle. The Rocks are .500 against them as far back as the KHSAA records show. T's winning percentage against everyone else during that time frame is 85%.
  13. Agreed on all points. I like this game enough that it made my preseason list of games I'm looking forward to most.
  14. I'm sure Corbin was keying on him. He was basically the entirety of Pikeville's running game last year. Boykins will help take some of the heat off of him this season. It may cost him some yards and touches, though.
  15. This is Crossing's first game as a ranked team. GC gets it done and continues building toward the big one on 9/30. Oryend Fisher lived in the North Oldham backfield last year.
  16. I could see it going about like last year. The Black Bears pound the rock and put some points on the board, but Johnson and Pelfrey make the plays necessary to keep Hazard at a safe distance to win by 3-4 touchdowns.
  17. This is by far Raceland's biggest margin of victory in the series, which now stands a 23-10 in favor of Ashland. All previous wins were by single digits.
  18. George Smith seems like my kinda guy... gets back to you quickly and gets straight to the point. Courteous and emphasizes brevity. Yeah, I like George.
  19. I think Moe has a little too much of everything for Trinity to overcome. And in light of the injury news, I'm taking the Crusaders, comfortably. Prove me wrong Rocks.
  20. Moeller Covington Catholic Middlesboro Eastern Newport Central Catholic
  21. *I probably shouldn't say anything because I didn't even participate. 😶
  22. The junior quarterback threw and ran for over 600 yards of offense against Letcher Central. The combination of mobility and hair trigger release are problematic for opposing defenses. Letcher is no slouch. They're a top ten team in 4A. Highlights vs. Letcher Central
