I didn't see any one else working besides him and the lady behind the cash register. We didn't see one maintenance person in the two days we were there. And we saw him down at the on-site "driving range" hand picking up golf balls and putting them in a bucket. I honestly felt bad for the guy. I would imagine they have to hire someone to cut the grass but we did not see it and it was definitely overdo. We were also told they do not change the water coolers out until mid week every week which I found strange and pretty gross.
Falls of Rough golf course is in pretty terrible shape. However, the cabins were in very good shape and a good setup overall. I think there was one guy running the whole place. He was extremely nice but I don't know how he can keep that place running.
Has anyone played the Falls of Rough golf course/resort "Lafayette Golf Club"? I have a group of guys down this weekend staying there and playing 54 holes.
I came to the site for High School football. But I stick around for the other discussions that happen in break room, controversial, etc.. I selected other because it really depends on the day and time of year for what BGP is used for imo.
These are all very specific situations where cash sounds like it is required. I would imagine people who do these types of activities know that cash is needed and would take cash with them prior to doing these activities. Just because we don't carry cash on a daily basis doesn't mean we can't go to the bank and withdrawal cash prior to going and doing things that obviously require cash.
Heading back to Anguilla in the Caribbean in August. Then hopefully a trip or two down to Norris lake. I burned up all my vacation in the first 3 months of the year.
