Head coach Matt Beshear is taking an administration job so this will be a very intriguing job as they have won back to back 2nd region titles. I have already heard one name who likely could get it and that is Webster County coach Jon Newton.

Seems to me like they need to have a guideline or something set where teams can still keep playing even if a couple are positive but have no symptoms. 2 weeks could cost football teams 1/4 of their season. Basketball that could mean 5-6 games.

Big hire by Campbellsville to replace Anthony Epps. Adkins coached Campbellsville University from 2000-2016, Life University from 2016-18, and Lindsey Wilson College from 2018-2020. He had eleven 20 win seasons in the NAIA ranks, including two final 4 appearances in 2016 and 2017.

Ryan Young had accepted this job early in the summer but has since left to go back home to Lincoln County and be an assistant. Mason has previously been an assistant coach for the Nelson Co. girls team.

Have heard Michael Merriman stepped down as coach to move to Alabama. Merriman was 17-45 in 2 seasons as head coach.

Anthony Epps steps down as head coach after one season as he will join the NKU Women's staff. Epps replaced long time head coach Tim Davis last year and went 15-15 with a 20th district runner up.

John Tinsley steps down after 2 seasons as head coach. He went 53-11 with 2 district championships and 2 region semi trips.

$25 dollars per helmet. Even cheaper if ordered in a bundle from what I saw.

Schutt Helmets is developing "Splash Shields" which are a full faced visor to protect players from getting spit, breathed on etc, this fall. More than 50 schools have ordered it, and apparently they do not fog up, and are breathable. Sounds like a great idea, especially for high schools if they are affordable.

I have heard Terrance Brooks is likely the next coach.

Josh Kays will replace Chris Tolliver as the new head coach at Thomas Nelson. Kays has been an assistant on the boys staff recently.

Nelson is a big school with a really nice gym but its also a hard sell when they haven't made it to a region final since 1993. Bardstown having so much recent success has helped them become the premier school for that area.

Riley is possibly the best if not the best Junior in the region. Close to 6'4 and can score inside or out.

Young comes to Nelson County after having a 44-76 record at Garrard County in 4 seasons. Before that he was an assistant coach at Garrard for 2 years, and Boyle County for one year.

Per Twitter: Harrison County coach Larry Kendall has resigned after 8 seasons. He had a 96-154 record in those 8 seasons. This will be a very attractive job in the 10th region as the Harrison County 8th grade team was state champions last year.

Have heard Richard Gatewood mentioned with this one if he wants it.

Pippen takes over the job from Justin Stinson. Pippen recently was an assistant coach last year, and before that was Russell County girls coach from 2007-2019. He led them to a state tournament appearance in 2017.

I actually have heard another name mentioned and it is former Adair County and most recently Green County coach Keith Young.

Chewning according to press release on the East Jessamine twitter is the new head coach. He has been an assistant there since the 2016-17 season, and is a 2011 graduate of Taylor County.

Carter averaged 11 ppg last year as an 8th grader at Greenup. Sean Marcum was the 16th ranked senior in West Virginia going into next year.

May see a familiar name getting this one.

I've heard former Anderson County coach Glen Drury mentioned for this job.
