Per Twitter: Harrison County coach Larry Kendall has resigned after 8 seasons. He had a 96-154 record in those 8 seasons. This will be a very attractive job in the 10th region as the Harrison County 8th grade team was state champions last year.

Who could potentially be some front runners for this job?

A lot will depend on what jobs are available in the district. With the state of school districts all around the state, they aren't going to create a position just for a basketball coach.

Great opportunity for Harrison County to make a home run hire! Talent is there.

Should get a lot of applicants. Largest school in the district, 5th largest in the region. In the region tournament 7 of the last 8 seasons including 4 district titles and 3 region semifinal appearances.

What route will they go.... young coach or veteran who is a proven winner?

Really surprised we haven’t heard more on this one.

I would say both sides are taking their time, who really knows if there will be school this year.

Terrance Brooks or Tony Wise is what I have heard.

Either would be fantastic options.  Who/how many interviewed?

Any update on this? I thought for sure there would be a decision by the end of the week.
