It's hard for me to judge. The two SK games I saw last year were vs Dixie. so very hard to judge him. Dixies defense was all over him. SKs line didn't block well. You may be right. racke Ave. 8.1 YPA. Dixies Moore ave. 9.2. And we know dixie didn't throw very often. Also to back up how well Dixies D line was last year. Powell Ave. 7.3 YPC last year. Two games vs Dixe 3.7.

In fact Racke had a TD to INT ratio of 2.8. Almost a full point worse than Morgan.

This could start a riot on BGPs. How dare you say a D1 player is better. We all know it's only marketing that gets offers. Lol.

I just don't think daddy ball is a real thing in 99% of cases. It seems to be the complaint of the kid that doent start. I think coaches are fair and put the best players on the field.

I do agree. It's a big step up. I just think he has the tools to do well at any level in KY. I think there are some well paid coaches who would back that up.

This seems like a cost issue. Public schools don't have big time boosters. They stay with coaches that don't win. How the football team does is not a big concern. That's how I feel with kids in kenton county public schools. Sports just isn't the big draw it may be for private cathlic schools. Take even Beachwood. Great school, football is a huge part of life there. At Dixie,SK,SHS. Not so much. Heck good players that live in Dixies district went to BW for years. Heck kids that could have started for Dixie that live down the street have went to BW.

There are not many legit 7 footers playing HS basketball in the US! Not just KY.

Good luck to the kid. He's very tall. Should be playing basketball. Hope he has the tools to play D1. At 7 foot he will get tons of looks. Even if his HS numbers are not so good.

Why would your ACT score need to be a 25 or great to play D1 football? Ivy leauge is a 26 that's a tier 1 offer. I believe they can only have 2 kids with Thats score per class the rest go up for there. Ivy League. You will be paying unless the stundent is very smart or the families income is very low.

Doesn't this kid have D1 offers at QB? Then I'm sure he will be staring...

Coach Brossart is 3 and 2 vs SK in his three years at DHs.

Believe me. This info is 100% not true. If your son is a D1 player. Coaches will call you back take your call. Don't sit back and think your HS HC is going to find you a school. Why would a D1 schools 500 miles away know your HS coach or care if he is the one contacting them. Their job is to find players. From any place or part of the US. Expecting your HS HC with a few D1 contacts to find you a school. Isn't a good idea.

It's that time of year. Please read the info on how to give your son the best chance to get offers. This is what I did. It work well for my family. This was a 3 year process of trail and error. My goal is to help parents, give info and hope that more kids from NKY can get a free education.

Great advice. D2/NAIA will give money to kids they realy want.

One call between April 15 and May 31 of an athlete’s junior year. On/after September 1, athletes can receive one call per week outside any contact periods. During a contact period, coaches can contact athletes at the institution’s discretion. Contact period(s)—Sunday after the last Saturday in November through Saturday before the NLI spring signing period.

I would keep calling the coach once a week. Leave a voice mail. All good things. Them asking you to call may be because it's a no contact time. You can call them they can't call you.

This was to just show what I believe to be real intrest. The question was how do I know real intrest and not just spam email about a camp?
