  1. Good luck this season, Woodford County, hopefully you guys can put it all together this season. We will see you on October 30th in Elizabethtown
  2. Meade County lost the house last year with 28 players graduating including QB, running back, lineman. They could go 500 this year
  3. I agree, he has the athletic ability and size for a running back at 6'1" and 210, to be dominant during his senior year at Central Hardin
  4. Do I know you, hoss? Looking forward to the season at Central Hardin. I am a huge football fan first and foremost, have been following John Hardin since 2005.My kids are in the Central Hardin school district and I want to see them succeed. I do have to admit that the fan base at Central is lacking enthusiasm. I brought an air horn to a Central game last year and was told that it was not authorized and had it taken away by the athletic director. I have used one for years at John Hardin games but realized that changing the culture and energizing the fan base at Central Hardin will take some time. Tim Mattingly has brought an edge and winning attitude to Central, the fans need to get on board!! That is my rant!!!
  5. John hardin vs South Warren at WKU to start the season, doesnt get any better than that, cant wait for the season to start
  6. They will need all 20 Seniors to beat Central Hardin the first game of the season. If i was a betting man, I would take Central in that one, just sayin. Central will have a top 5 defensive unit in the state and overall deeper team than last years team that went 12-1
  7. It all starts up front except against; Madison Central ( 20-45), PLD (38-6), Anderson County ( 7-35), Cooper (7-31), last year, sound soft to me
  8. Come down to Central Hardin at the end of the season and watch them get dismantled
  9. Does Meade County defense reverberate around the state? Guess who left Meade County 2 years ago as defensive coordinator to become head coach at Central Hardin? Tim Mattingly.
  10. Best offensive line in the state? Absolutely not, if last years results are any indication of this group. They got pounded by the likes of Dunbar? Really! After seeing Central Hardin dismantle Dunbar in the playoffs last year, I was not impressed. Central Hardin plays Woodford County at home for the last game of the season. I assume that Central Hardin will take them to the woodshed.
  11. Cant wait to see Central Hardin host Bowling Green in September. I am not sure that Central Hardin can pull off an upset but with coach Tim Mattingly entering his second season at the helm, Central Hardin players seem more familiar with the offensive and defensive schemes and seems to have more depth on both sides of the ball and will have a one of the top defenses in the state, a trade mark of coach Mattingly, going back to his days as defensive coordinator at Meade County. I am being told that this is Central Hardins most talented group in a long time.
  12. John Hardin will drop down to 4A this year and will not have to face Bowling Green. They have a strong junior class and will have speed to burn. They are maybe 1 year away form being one of the best teams that John has ever had. Central Hardin is building a strong program, startin at the middle school level with 3 coaches from bluegrass middle school moving over to West hardin middle school. They bring with them a wealth of knowledge and a winning attitude. Central should be able to pound the rock behind fullback Xavier Arnette, the speed of Darius Barbour at WR/CB should bring speed to a team that is already returning some good talent. Defense should be the cornerstone of this team as they have 8 starters returning, including MLB Seth Bryan, who was a 1 man wrecking crew last year. Centrals post season maychup out west should be kinder to them than the lexington region was last year. Meade County lost 8 starters on each side of the ball and look to be down this year, which could be to Centrals advantage. Centrals schedule is definately challenging with the likes of Boyle County, Bowling Green and Puducah Tilghman in addition to John, Meade and Bullitt East. Looking forward to the upcoming season, as Hardin County has some teams poised to make a run at a state title.
  13. Meade County is losing 26 Seniors off of this years team, you might want to reconsider where they are rated.
  14. I guess there is a big difference between your idea of a good defensive line and Meade County's. OUCH
  15. I bet Scott County would vote for Meade County along the defensive line!
  16. Anthony will be a sophomore this year. He played some downs last year for John on the varsity squad at wide receiver
  17. Hard to imagine John Hardin starting soo slow next season with a plethora of underclassmen with varsity experience coming back as well as an experienced backfield and the ultra talented freshman and sophomore classes.
  18. Congratulations to Central Hardin's Tim Mattingly on being named District 2 and 6A, overall coach of the year. Mattingly led Central Hardin (12-1) to new heights this year including its first undefeated regular season in program history and first district title in 22 years. Junior Seth Bryan was also named District player of the year, leading the Bruins with 164 tackles, including 85 solo stops.
  19. I never said next year, I said within the next 2 years. I think Johns talent level in their sophomore , junior players next year could be the best ever. I also think that they can finally get over the hump and bring a state championship to John Hardin. If not next year, definitely in 2016.
  20. John Hardin, going away. Probably their most talented team ever, within the next 2 years, now that's saying something. Speed everywhere and plethora of running backs.
  21. Shelton from Williamsburg made some great catches, in particular, the one handed grab in the end zone
