You might be right on 2 of the 3. Bryan Station is in for a rude awakening. Central Hardin can run it down your throat with Arnette ( 6'0" 210)and one of the most under rated QBs in the state in Krapinski who can throw with accuracy. Central also has a stronger Defense.
Surprised would be an understatement, in reference to John Hardin's Performance on Friday Night. It looks like they could make it through to the semis and a date with good ol Bowling Green. Just 2 weeks ago they were playing for their playoff lives.
Sounds about right, should be low scoring, Meade doesn't allow a lot of yards or points, I know Central will be rooting for Scott County, doesn't really want to face Meade again, they are a tough out.
Enough of the small talk, I am enjoying this run by Central Hardin and look forward to a tough matchup with Bryan Station next weekend, truly a brutal schedule through the region 1 and 2 brackets, I guess we will see what Central is made out of the next few weeks. Tschuss, till tomorrow.
I was at the Central Game, have a friend that went to the Meade County game and talked to him on the phone, think I have my finger on the pulse of the local teams, also work with a friend who was at the John Hardin game who gave me updates, Go John
At the end of Last season, Central hired Meade Countys defensive coordinator as head coach (Mattingly), brings that Meade defensive edge and toughness to Central, believes that Defense sets the tone. Defense will take you far in the post season.
Bryan station will be a challenge but Central has something special going this year and it starts on the defensive side of the ball. I am sorry but the 6A Lexington schools just haven't seen the level of defense that central and meade play, that my opinion. The best defensive team that I have seen this year is Male
I am realistic and know that it would be a tall task for Central Hardin to beat Scott County regardless of location, but I would rather have them at home. I would put Male, Scott County, ST X, and Trinity in front of Central as far as talent, lets roll the dice and see what happens.
