The fact that you have player rating is bias and no need for it. Whether you think it or not, you know a list like this gets put in the heads of the coaches who vote for these players. Some players had amazing 2nd half of the seasons, yet votes were already in, so some didn't even get recognized. It's all about the hype of a player, when they do great, makes you look like you know what your talking about, but if season goes bad, oh well, just bad luck this year. Give opinions about facts, actual stats and make your argument, not what you think. It's a position sport, do it that way.

Yay About to go off on the fact you don't have Graybill #1 ?!?! Seriously? Guess you don't look at the history of this player, read the papers, or are in the know when it comes to competitive summer ball, in the who's who. Who else committed D1 as a Soph? Or any D1 at that? If so, what's their impact when they go in as a fresh? This is just another thread to say nothing about nothing, from someone that wants to be heard. I'll start another thread to be heard and get everyone geeked up for no reason...."Reasons why a catholic school will not win the 9th region tourney". Hmmmm?? Who wants to give input on that one? Hits and runs wins games, not just pitching, what's the top 2s avg compared to Graybill, even compared to Dutcher? No mention of her? What was her RBI?

Some of the "great coaches" are "coaches of the year" not because of their coaching, but because of their great players. I'm sure LeBron James HS coach didn't need to do a ton of "coaching" with the talent he had walking in the door.

The fact that she coached a team to only 3 losses, with a margin on 6 points total, 2 of them OT, that could have easily resulted in wins, to the top 2 teams in the Region. The argument could be to Holmes Head not getting it, but would you taint that because of his transfers success and only losing 1 game? Just because she returned all 5 starters, there were an awful lot of teams out there stacked as well, and besides, they were voted by their peers, not fans opinions. You rarely see "coaches of the year" with a mediocre year of wins vs losses.

Angie is not at SK so why would you include her in your 40? I was just saying that she has a ton of influence from when she was a coach, has many people that have played for her that still coach at that level. I used Angie as an example. If you guys want to know more, ask them yourselves.

Olmstead. Even has former player/s who are assist at D1, like Angie Johnson at Georgia. Even Pat Summit has given respect and shout out to her. There is plenty more about her that you have no clue about, but you guys don't care.

And to think, new turf on the field is just around the corner!! Too bad I don't have any boys, but my Jr. girls are loving the new facilities..I think they hit the weights harder than the boys. Jumped their squats up 50 pounds over the first 9 weeks, 325 for a rep of 3 is not bad, lol. Equipment that works and looks good, makes you proud to be in there and work hard. They can't stop talking about it.

And to think, they've been using the mini version of this in the new weight room facility that the PE program and community use since Sept. Off season voluntarty workouts have been going strong, non stop.

I believe Highlands has invested plenty into making sure they continue to be a dominate force in Ky, regardless of CCH hiring, and not just in Football but all sports. Plan has been in place years before CCH firing and hiring. "Prior Preperation Prevents Poor Performance". Seems HHS is preparing.......

Ryle by 6. Bigs length are too much for camels to handle, they will out rebound 3-1 as they did so with Highlands but couldn't finish the shots, I see them correcting this.

The work in the weight room has been nothing but intense. Hats of to coach B for the tanasity and drive he's instilled in his players efforts in the off season. Boys are hungry, strong, quick, determined. Looking forward to catch a few games in between softball and track. Good Luck Birds, watch out 9th!!

Highlands lost to HC in double OT, and Holmes in the last 20 sec, not sure why they slip to 14, they are a lot closer than all of you think? HSS is 20-3 now, they are a top 10 for sure......but with those 3 in the same region, leaves a bitter taste if they do not make it out to the final 16. And like I said, not sure any of those 3 make it out of Region 9, there are a few sleepers out there that could slip by.

It was no 15 point blow out, and to go OT, says a lot, even if Tubbs was out. They beat Highlands without her. Interesting, as I've said, there are sleeper teams out there.
