  1. I take it the passing game for SK was non existent b/c of conditions?
  2. SK coach has no idea how to exploit mismatches. Sad.
  3. St Xavier 20 Pickerington Central 13. 7:40 3rd.
  4. Lasalle is playing Anthony Wayne, not Dayton Wayne, which lost to Pic Central last week
  5. Should be a great game between 2 excellent teams. It's what Friday nights are all about!
  6. Sk coaches went for it Twice on their own 20-25 yd line and turned it over on downs as a result. Poor coaching putting your kids in that position giving highlands a short field both times to score.

  8. SK freshman enrollment is 458
  9. Ball handling would certainly help but as a group their tall and long but not quite as quick and fast as they have been in the past and that really hurts. Defensively, they lack tenacity. You got to be able to get after it...
  10. Liked the game plan at the beginning for SK, getting the ball to the bigs. Then the meltdown in the 2nd half. However, it is hard to win games when 3 starters score 6 points combined.
  11. Tough game for SK. Played without Krohman and Sergeant got in foul trouble early and probably the most challenging day shooting from him i have seen in a few years. Could be the most offensive fouls called in a game I have ever seen. Good luck birds on the next round, should be a more competitive game.
  12. I think I may know what you are referring to...match vs Dixie? If so, that was embarrassing and we do apologize on behalf of SK supporters.
  13. Thought she was playing for freshman St. Henry?
  14. IMO Walton V with their big guy back can and will compete with anyone. CovCath is very deep and with Coldiron back they will be a very tough out. Holy Cross has some size and Houston cleans up the boards and is terrific around the basket. They need better play from their guards though to beat the other 2.
  15. Just to clarify, Twenhofel has only one 8th gr girl playing up-Maggie Jones and she starts JV and gets minutes, sometimes a lot on Varsity. Summit View has two 8th graders that play up. Morgan Stamper who has been starting Varsity the last few games because of an injury, also have Vickers who plays both Freshman and JV. Twenhofel also has a 7th grader-Sergent who starts freshman and plays JV. Her and Jones played together on Kentucky's only AAU Div I National runner up team. The other girl who played with Sergent last yr on their large school championship team- Sidney Thomas, who is now about 6'3-6'4 transferred and plays freshman and JV at Holy Cross. Too bad she transferred...could have had a team with Stamper, Jones, Sergent and Vickers as a core that would have been very difficult to compete against. Still will be but who wouldn't want a 6'3-4 center.
  16. shortest starter for SK is 6'2"
  17. Someone needs to learn how to keep score
  18. HS/MS Athletic Trainers have to be better trained in this area. Most are poor in their evaluations and are ultra conservative. Had 2 bad experiences around this. One was in a National Championship game!
  19. Got outplayed in every facet of the game. Could not make any shots, including layups. Connor was quick and fast and SK could not figure out the jump/trap press. SK could not catch a pass to save their lives and it was not just 1 or 2 of them it was all of them. Lots of turnovers, both forced and unforced. Connor played great.
