I'll root for Lawrence as the underdog. Think they can win but Belfry likely rolls on in this one.

Tomcats could be a sleeper. Hard to think of Ashland as a sleeper in anything but they have some nice athletes and some fresh energy in the program. Robinson will end up being a stud like his sisters before him. I think this year the Villers brothers will score a lot of the Tomcats points.

I know a player who transferred from Russell while in HS (he never played varsity there). Graduated a few years back. Had a class with him, don't think he was a major factor anyways. But I was going to say Messer because I remember that was the Fairview argument back when Fairview looked like a West Virginia based AAU football team. I think Roy from Fairview was from Spring Valley but has family ties to Fairview so he transferred.

I saw the MS team at East and they look pretty good. Also sported a unique helmet and uniform combo I liked. My favorite returning Ram is Bailey Walker. Kid will be a jacked next year.

Not taking away anything from Scott's win but playing without the best player in the state obviously played into the outcome of this game.

Finally get the chance to make a run now that Highlands is out of the class and they go down without their best weapon available. Probably should've practiced for the upcoming game, if what the tomcat posters on here say is true about the new offense they were running that didn't get to run (unless they did). Doubt you could have told Baker he couldn't play in that situation. It's a shame this happened but it is what it is.
