Make no mistake. Having a 2.5 hour drive to War Memorial and thinking about it, they will be scared? I would hope not scared, but concerned, definitely. Trust me.

I talked to folks who watched the Murray/OC game. I was told that 1. Murray made no adjustments the entire game that would have been effective. Mayfield's specialty is adjustments 2. Murray quit playing when they got down. Mayfield gets more ferocious when they get down....just ask Murray. Mayfield by 10

I haven't seen OC play BUT I can say Murray SHOULD win this one, I don't think they do but they should. They look like a college team warming up. Somehow it just doesn't translate to dominating though....I think they have just gotten it in their heads they cant make it happen. I do think both teams beat each other up bad in this one and then get a Mayfield team next Friday that gets a running clock tomorrow.:thumb:

Ok, well the vast majority feel that way from what I have read on here. It wasn't called well. And CLUELESS TO THE RULES doesn't have anything to do with it, it was a problem with the APPLICATION of the rules by the refs. So there is no RULE against pass interference or was it how the play was JUDGED to apply to the standard of pass interference? The defense rests.

CC let MF go 85 yards in 37 or so seconds. Do we need to have any more discussion?

I have to agree with Pick. The two worst officiated games I have seen in years were the 2013 Caldwell and the 2015 Caldwell home games. I have had that discussion with several people I know. Must be the water down there.

All the hooey about this game boils down to this. Caldwell was up by 2 (with a gift from the refs IMO, but anyway they were up. Kudos to the long field goal they kicked) with roughly 38 seconds left. Mayfield drives down the field and despite the inept clock operator, kicks a field goal to win the game. No other argument to be had. Everyone agrees that the Refs looked like the 3 stooges out there. That officiating was embarrassing.

Mayfield hasn't lost two games in a single season in a LONG time and it wont happen tonight either.

Mayfield by two TDs. With Trajon back and capable of breaking one for a TD every time he touches the ball, the pass game now opens back up much more. Spread out and guard the pass...Trajon has his way. Load up to stop Trajon and were throwing downfield. Mayfields game just changed with the return of Bright

Mayfield's D is pretty nasty. Murray, who was a huge, talented team put the ball on the ground 5 times all due to being hit and hit hard. Were smaller but faster and hit harder than any D we have played IMO. Also have the best D Coordinator anywhere around in Coach Dew.
