  1. Here is the issue with the Bengals. Yes they are 7-0, but they have yet to have a game where they look like a 7-0 team. I believe their last 4 games all came down to the last possession or close to it. They have not dominated in any game that I can remember from game 2 or 3 on. They should win this game by a lot more than 10 points, but I can't seem to want to place money on that. and I think Kim Davis is hot
  2. I think the CCH Beechwood game really messed with me. No way I see the Beechwood team I just watched and followed all year not being able to beat HHS.
  3. So what exactly is the problem? No one that can run the ball? Surely you can have a decent running game behnd the "best line in the state"
  4. The problem even with only having 4 classes is the fact that the huge difference in enrollment from the bottom of class 4 and the top of the class 4 teams. It's already a huge advantage for the big schools in Louisville and making it 4 classes will only hurt more schools. What they need is what other states have and hat is separate Catholic leagues etc and public. Never understood why it is such a big resistance to that in KY.
  5. Did anyone else think he teeaked his knee early in the game when he stepped forward to avoid a player in the ground?
  6. It's because KHSAA is a joke. Instead of having 5 and 6 team districts and only taking too 3 or 4 they have 3 team districts that are a joke. NKY has 6 6A teams in the immediate vicinity of each other and instead of having 1 district they created 2 3 team districts. For those that say they have to have a certain number of districts, no they don't. Give #1 seed bye in the first round if you have to. There are ways around it. KHSAA could screw up anything they touch.
  7. This years season for the Steelers reminds me of 2006 season for the Bengals. Too many season ending injuries cost the Bengals big time.
  8. Coming into the game I picked your Steelers to beat us. After seeing Ben the first series, even though they scored, he just didn't look right. Before his first Int I turned to the wide and said Ben can't step into his throws and any deep ball will be a jump ball and that is exactly what occurred. After seeing him struggle the Steeler fans will have to sweep this season under the rug and hope to be at 100% next year. I would also hope they go out and bring in another backup QB depending on how hurt Vick is. Plus Bick is so bad that when Landry is your best QB you are in trouble.
  9. I can't stand the Steelers at all. With that said I always want to beat a team when they are at 100% health wise. I hate seeing anyone get hurt and yesterday even before Bell went down you could tell Ben was at 60-70% at best. He couldn't move out of his own way and with the line struggling this year he may make his injury worse before its all said and done. Steelers will struggle without Bell big time the rest of the way.
  10. I think, as has been said by others, that the gate should first go to covering travel and the home teams cost for the game. After that there is no issue with splitting it 50/50. Traveling expenses aren't cheap when you charter a couple busses for what could be 10+ hours sometimes.
  11. Wasn't a bad move at all imo. He has struggled some against a good D-line and he is most dangerous when he can use his power and strength in the open field. They proved that in their game against Conner. Once they moved him out to the slot he becomes even more Dangerous especially seeing how their other backs are faster so this way they can use more weapons at the same time. Now the only concern is getting him enough touches in the passing game.
  12. I'm curious how many on here think there is that big of a gap between CCH and HHS?
  13. Not always the case. In years past Coopers fans have outnumbered the home team fans many times. Not always mind you but they travel very well. 2012 and 2013 they not only filled the entire visitors stands but had standing room only around the field.
  14. It could take 16 wins honestly There realistically could be 2 teams undefeated going into the playoffs.
  15. I wouldn't say the running has been weak this year. I think the play calling has been the biggest hinders nice to the running game this year. Yesterday was a perfect example. You have your RB averaging close to 10'yards a carry in the first half and then don't use him. That was the problem with the running game.
  16. No. No way. Anderson was the best QB this franchise has had and Greg Cook would have been if he didn't get hurt. Rules have changed so much that today is a QB's league. Now I won't take anything away from what Dalton has done but in the big picture until this year, the wins came down more to the team than the QB. This year Dalton is playing like an elite QB. The years past not so much. He was ok and the team as a whole should get credit for those wins more than anything.
  17. I would take Bengals offense over Denver, but their Defense is the trump card. Their Defense puts them ahead of the Bengals.
  18. The Dr on ESPN said that the problem with this type of injury is after the surgery he has to wait until it is completely healed before he can even begin to put weight on it to start the rehab process which is why it takes so long. He said if it is "loose" then it will not protect the knee and the knee will never be stable which is why he has to wait until it is completely healed before even putting weight on it and starting rehab.
  19. Broncos defense is scary good. I think the Broncos defense and Cardinals defense are the two that can simply shut down offenses at anytime.
  20. I read that and as soon as I did I couldn't help but remember back to the playoff game in 2005. I was sitting in the 2nd row of the endzone and after Carson Palmer got his knee blown up by Kimo, they showed the hit in the jumbo tron while Carson was still laying in the ground and when they showed the replay Larry Foote was watching it and as soon as he realized Carson was seriously hurt and would be gone he started celebrating and dancing in the end zone. The biggest piece of crap I've Ever witnessed was Larry Foote celebrating the injury. I didn't see Burfict celebrate the injury at all but when Steelers are complaining about that, maybe they need to think about what some of their players did back in 2005 and just shut up.
  21. This could be a very VERY special season. I'd love nothing more than the Bengals and Pats being undefeated and meeting in the AFCCG. That would be pretty cool.
  22. Reports on ESPN this morning states he badly tore his MCL and may be out up to 12 months. I feel really bad for him. Great RB who has gotten hurt twice now in the last 2 years. Wish him a quick and 100% recovery.
  23. Can't believe that grown men can continue to act like imbeciles on here.
