I agree. If fans from a school do it at their home games and the team is fine with it then that's their teams rules. But don't do it at away games. You don't know what the home team does. Last night it became an issue when Ryle parents went in the field and wouldn't leave. Cooper always has a team meeting in the field in a particular area of the field and they couldn't do that due to all the parents in that area. The PA announcer had to tell them too many times to leave the field as they ignored the request numerous times. I don't particularly have a problem with it if it is done at your home field, But don't take your traditions elsewhere and invade the other teams space and traditions etc.

People in the stands probably didn't notice but Marcus also had a blocked punt yesterday. The first punt if the game for Ryke He got a hand on. That's why it kind of died. He had 2 in a playoff game last year also and I believe earlier in the year too. He is a force. He has the motor for DI but the measirables just aren't there for that level. I do believe Morehead told him he has a spot if he wants it but it would be a PWO. Wherever he goes And whatever level he goes, that team will be getting something special.

Cooper always does but I don't lose sleep over the other teams not. Just what Cooper does is all. I will add however FanOfMany makes a good point. If you donut for your own team, why not do the same for the other team?

Haha. I still think KHSAA screwed up not making a 6 team district. Make the games mean something. We will have a 1 win team and a 0 Win team make the playoffs in SK's district.

This game was hyped as the game of the week and it lived up to it. That's what makes Friday Nights great. Good luck Raiders the rest of the way and We hope to see you again at Cooper in the post season.

It's all Good. The one bright side is the regional game should be held in NKY which is nice not to have to drive for hours.

You opened a can of worms now. I'm with you but learned years ago that other teams fans will tell you it's not required blah blah blah. I think it shows good sportsmanship myself but like you I think we are in the minority. Cooper takes a knee for everyone no matter what team the hurt player is from.

You are 100% correct. They played a 3-4 today and their front 3 still had Morgan running around a lot. The three headed monster for Ryle was non existent. Congrats to Cooper's front 3 tonight. With that said. Morgan is a stud. Made some great tight throws. 3 years he is a whole new QB. His freshman year he didn't have near the velocity he has now and he will be fun to watch on Saturdays. 2 DI Qb's this year and Cooper came out on top. Not bad. The only bad play N Brown made was his INT. He could have ran for 20 yards in that play but tried to make something happen and threw into double coverage. Other than that play he played great IMO.

Never once said they would win state this year. Guess what? Neither will SK. Winning district the first year they moved up to 6A from 5A though proves they can play at this level. Being #2 in NKY behind SK is not too shabby either.

Best part of the game. It was very well played. No players got Chippie and their was a lot of respect from these kids as they have played with and against eachother since they were in grade school. Would love to see them meet again in the regionals.

Not even close. SK is a great NKY team but not in the same zipcode of Trinity or Male this year.

They are not a pretender. They have a very good team. I do think some of their fans may have underestimated Cooper a bit though.

TCA goes out in the first series of the game. Both offenses were shut down in the first half. Nathan Brown puts the offense in his back the 2nd half and he and Hendrix made the plays they need too. Great game. Both teams played outstanding especially the 2nd half. Tanner Morgan has a cannon for an arm but Cooper's DB's didn't let any receivers get behind them which was huge. Ryle should have went to the air a lot earlier after the first drive of the game IMO. They could not run on Cooper's D-line and Cooper only had 3 rushing.
