I agree, its going to be a long year for the Polar Bears post AC. I'm sure they will surprise a team here and there, but if they are struggling at the position where Crawford was so dominating they will have to be patient while others gain some experience.

Scott at #8 surprised me. Replacing 20+ points per game from one player is tough. Did Beechwood loose that much from last year not to get a top 10 look? Brossart returns everyone and doesn’t get a sniff either? Brossart and Newport should be a telling game this week.

We are having both this year. For the past 3 years we served prime rib to change things up.

Last year Raceland dictated the game on the defensive side putting 11 in the box, stunting almost every play. I look for more of the same this year unless Brossart can spread them out and reverse the role of setting the tone. They’ve got to work the middle of the field better and give MacDonald the ability to check off when he recognizes the defensive set. Brossart has some nice athletes but they have to keep Raceland honest.

There are some brands that are decaffinated that are just as tasty. Try them!

IMO, Beechwood is a very good team regardless of class. I would, however, disagree NCC would be ranked 4th or 5th in 1a. IMO, NCC would beat any of the other teams ranked behind Beechwood. In the end it will not make a difference who wins because the 1a championship goes through Beechwood.

Well then, if you're a coach, I wouldn't want you on my staff trying to undermine me on here. Secondly, if you are a coach maybe you should step up and state your opinion, lastly if you can coach then approach the top guy and ask him to get involved and coach.

Kids are put into position for how well they perform in practice, it ends there. If they don't perform well, then they don't play. Someone's opinion of athletic talent is one thing, but if you can't be coached to do what the position coach wants done then someone else plays. If you're not at practice you simply don't know.

Not surprised by the outcome, but I am surprised by the number of points and margin of victory . I really expected the Camel defense to better this year with the number of experienced players coming back from last years team. I get it, the team that scores the most wins, but this is not a scenario the SK defense wants to have happen on a regular basis giving up 40 points.

Brossart has played better on artificial than natural surface imo. They have also played better on a large field where they have been able to utilize their speed.

You always predict your team to win, lol. Nky soccer in general this year was difficult to predict, but I will predict this will not be a 4 goal margin of victory for Brossart as portrayed in their first meeting. My heart is with Brossart but my check book is locked down with no friendly wagers. Its always an emotional game playing neighbors and anyone could win this one. I'm going with Brossart 1-0.

Campbell came ready to play. I thought the momentum would turn when Smallwood got a yellow card early in the first half, but Calvary was unable to capitalize. Congrats Camels.
