Stadium, should be ready. As far as the Colts go, They are working hard in the weight room. This will again be a big team. I again think the winner comes from the west. CAL will be tough, no doubt. We are looking at having another strong defensive team again. I think we'll be ok this year. We'll win more than we lose. lol

Congrats to Mayfield. The fans I met before the game, and after the game were great. Couldn't have asked for a better atmosphere for a football game. As someone said earlier, some of our play calls were just head scratchers. We had success running the football in the first, Mayfield made the adjustment by with their inside backers moving up , to help, or on most plays were bringing pressure. The middle of the field was open! I can't for the life of me understand why more high school football teams don't utilize a tight end. It's almost a forgotten position in high school football. The kids on both side showed heart, character, and class. For a game this big, I saw no jawing, no activity after plays, I saw them pat each other on the helmets, and just good sportsmanship. I can see this turning into a very good rivalry. Hopefully next year, we can return the favor at our new facility. Good luck next week!

Ok. It's game day. I think we have all looked forward to this game since realignment. I know I like to stir it up just as much as the next guy, but it really is in good fun. I take nothing personal, as I hope others don't take what I say as personal. The game is here. Lets all enjoy the day, unfortunately one team has to lose. I'm looking forward to seeing a game at Mayfield, and hope this is a every other year affair. Next year I hope to see you at our new field. Lets all say a little prayer for the safety of the young men representing both schools, and for the parents making the long trip to Mayfield. I'm sure the game will live up to it's hype, and we can all congratulate the winner.

Happy Thanksgiving to all! I'm really looking forward to our trip down there tomorrow. Let's all be thankful for that we have a bunch of great young men on both sides, who are going to suit up, and do what they love to do. Good luck to both teams, for a good hard nose clean game with no injuries.

If it rains as the forecast is calling for, the game will come down to whichever teams offensive line has the better game. Both teams have good defensive fronts.

The response was to your fan telling us what you've been doing for 30 years. Not taking away from your accomplishments. But the majority of our history has been in Jefferson Co. We'll certainly respect you but we definitely aren't afraid of you. This is class 2A. We are the defending champs.

I think both the teams in the west have better defenses than Danville.

I said, don't look to much into that Oct game. We had 4 turnovers, played kinda lazy at times. BUT... When we meet in the playoffs we expect to beat CAL. We are in their heads. Last night we pretty much did what we wanted. We changed the defense up a little from our first match up. Carr is a heck of a qb. First game we didn't pressure him much. That wasn't the case last night. That kid took a beating. He got up slow more than a few times last night. Johnson is playing light out right now. He's running, and throwing the ball well, and he's a huge weapon punting the ball. He nailed CAL with 2 great punts. He kicks the ball so high, it's hard for the returner to judge it. CAL was having a hard time with that. They bobbled 2 of them , even though they did lose them. I'm looking forward to heading to Mayfield. I'm sure Colt nation will be there in force like always. Should be a very good high school football game. It's what both fan bases I believe have wanted. I can't go against the Colts in this one. Mayfield has a good defense, but we have a better one. Mayfield is fast. I don't believe any faster than Ballard, Fairdale, or Fern Creek. There are alot of variable's also. What if the weather is bad? I will absolutely take DeSales in that situation. But ..We did just put up 37 on CAL. Their defense is probably the second best in 2A. The other thing is playing on the road wherever it is doesn't affect our kids as much. All our games are technically away games. That will change next year. I'm expecting Mayfield to come out and do what they do. I'm sure the crowd will be great. So will ours. I'm sure the game will live up to the hype. Here's to no injuries to either team. Clean hard nose game, and the best team wins.

Gotta go with our brothers in faith. Their schedule prepares them well for 2a teams. I believe they are more battle tested than Danville. I do think it will be close. But i think NCC goes to Bowling Green.

It wasn't an upset. DeSales pretty much did what they wanted. It's amazing when you don't have 4 turnovers. I told you don't put much stock in that game from Oct.

Ahhhh. Living vicariously through another team. Well, you haven't faired much better against the Colts either. You guys should try scoring some against us. lol We aren't worried about Mayfield right now. We play our true rival tonight. Our hands are full at the moment.

As long as we don't turn the ball over. We have always learned our lessons on what CAL has done in the regular season to beat us, and come back with the adjustments. It will be your typical CAL vs. DeSales game. Whichever team make the less mistakes wins.

It's game day! Smack talk is over. it's time to put up or shut up. Here's to a good clean game, with no injuries for either. Win, and advance. I think the Colts are ready to roll. I'm sure the kids at Monroe are ready as well.

The atmosphere won't be any different than Glasgow. Our guys know what's on the line. They know how they are being compared to the last two previous teams. They know what they have to do. The defense will overwhelm Monroe, and DeSales will play our brand of football. Johnson did a very good job of managing the game last week. Sometimes he tries to do to much. (CAL). Let's play our game, hopefully be in position to get the reserves in, and get ready for what's coming next week. We know that will be a war.
