In agreement with you Goldie. AND the only conclusion I can come up with is not fact based, just an observation. In the few games I got to watch last year it seemed her playing time had been reduced from the 2 years prior. Not sure if this was injury related for the games I got to watch. BUT in my opinion she shold be on the list, but not sure who I would bump off.

This should be an exciting year for he Lady Eagles. They return the core of their starting lineup in Clephane, Stapleton and Secrist. Look for Davis, Brown and Wagner to make huge impacts this season. GOING to be fun to watch!!!

Scott Lady Eagles win their 3rd consecutive 10th Region Title over a very strong Campbell County team. Congratulations to both teams on terrific seasons. Big Ups to the Bracken Co. folks for the excellent job hosting the 10th Region Tourney this year. Your efforts and hospitality were appreciated by all. From the gals working concessions to the wonderful mom(s)who coordinated the tournament t-shirts (personal thank you) all deserve a big round of applause!!!

Disagree. While I feel at the point the game is out of reach it is important to get your 2's and 3's on th e field. It is not my responsibility to help you come away with a moral victory. It is your job to stop my 2's and 3's regardless of the plays I call. To do anything less such as not passing the ball does a diservice to the kids in the game. In the end we only get better when challenged.

Loving all the banter back and forth. Judging from the lack of comments about them. I look for the Eagles to fly under the radar again this year. When it comes to talking about the 10th there is no getting around the fact that there is a lot of talent among the top teams. And while I always take umbrage with the term "best player". I can't wait to see them all in action this year. Best of luck to all the girls and lets bring the title home this year!!!

Selfish as it may be I only Holly Kallmeyer went 3 for 3 dispite not hitting a ball out so the infield.....love to watch that kid run!!!

What a day that was too. Ice everywhere Expressway shut down. Thanks, can't wait till the finish of softball and track to she how she does with a whole off season to focus on just one sport and not have to change pace for volleyball.....at least this year anyway.

Following on the heals of fellow NKY Legends and Scott HS senior teammate Tori Dant signing with Mt. St. Joseph, Holly Kallmeyer will continue her basketball career at Hanover College. Congrats to both these young ladies on thier bright futures at the next level.

Certainly most would agree that with victory comes confidence. And with Loss comes the challenge to improve. That said thier is only a few teams from year to year that you can say will be easy wins or tough teams to beat. But as Jenkins is proving with only 8 players on the team any single player can make a difference so you never truly know. To answer your question I'd say it was a good record and a good season. Be proud of all the girls accomplisments. After all 10 years from now the only thing you will remember is how good the experience was of playing great ball in one of the most competitive areas in the State.

Congrats Lady Eagles on the win. First time the Eagles have beaten Mason Co. in at least 4 years (scrimmage, regular or post season). Heard someone in the stands, pre-game, say that tonight's game was the No.1 Offense vs the No.1 Defense. If that's true it definitely was a game that lived up to the hype.
