I look for Mason Co to make a statement this Friday vs Harrison Co, a team that put Mason Co out of region last year first round. I said tonight the 10th Region is full of suprises this year, and two games verifies that. Pendleton Co upsetting Campbell in Campbell & Mason upsetting MoCo. I stand by my earilier statement that the 10th Region is up for grabs this year. Anyone can take it. A few more games remain before Districts. The rest of the season will be interesting! I plan to be at every game!

Final from the Fieldhouse. A big win for Mason Co. Mason has won 5 straight. Thoughts?

I've been to most home games this season, I have been to two away games and tonight's game between the two most storied programs in the 10th Region will be my third. I was there for the announcement of Biggs being hired on as coach, and I saw a different announcement than what I expected. I do recall that Biggs had a terrible record over in Ashland, but aside from that, Biggs has no control over this team. Coach Miller on the other hand can put them in a line. I am just wondering why Mason County hired Biggs. No disrespect to Biggs or his family, but why? I do know that there were 45 applications put in and I heard rumors that Coach Hinson, one or both of the Feldhouse's had put their application in, not too sure how true that is, but if it comes to be true, why was Biggs hired? I do know the allegations over those 4 players, how true that is, i'm not sure, cause I know those kids personally, and I have known them for many years. Anyways, I know that where I sit at the Fieldhouse gets a little heated, mainly because I am disagreeing with the refs, but when a player turns to me and tells me to "shut the F up" is when the line is drawn. However, I was contacted by that player shortly after the game and was handed an apology and yes, I understand it gets heated when you play at the house, but the coaches need to put some disapline on these kids and I am not just talking about Mason Co, I am talking about the entire state. The Tradition has graduated and I am not sure myself when it will come back, but if Mason County wishes to be on top again, a new coach is needed, a coach with more experience and discipline. All I am gonna say. May the rest of the season be in whoever's favor. @gold sunrise, cya tonight bud!

We have seen in recent years that anyone can be beat in Districts or even first round of Region. Honestly, there is no favourite, although, I can give you 5 teams I think have a good chance: MoCo Campbell Mason Augusta Bracken Now I know I am out ruling Pendleton, Paris and Broassart, but most of those teams (3/4) have to make it out of Districts. Bracken looks good, Mason looks tough if everyone is on their game, and Augusta just coming off a small win over Brossart, ANYTHING can happen. Who knows!

I didn't know till after the game Pig was playing with the flu. That is amazing. 24 points & the flu, dedicated player.

Your correct, with the upset in the 9th Region of NCC, I wanted to pick some upsets, but I see the competition being too much.

Got 4 games at the Fieldhouse today, all starts at 1:00 with Bourbon County vs Campbell County. Second game starts at 2:30 with Augusta vs Pendleton County. Clear the gyms for a couple hours for cleaning & then return back for the night cap where it features the following: Third game starts at 6:30 with Harrison County vs Mason County. The fourth & final game starts at 8:00 with Scott High vs Paris. Im going to take Campbell over Bourbon, Pendleton over Augusta, Mason over Harrison & Paris over Scott. Going to be a long day of action, I will be attending the second session, who else will be there to enjoy the famous popcorn?

I don't see how people could say Mason Co will lose the tourny with the season they have had.

During the first two games, I will be working, sadly, although, I am looking to be in attendence for the last two games.

Was good to see BGP in attndence last night, didn't meet them, but was good to see they made the trip safely. Hope to see them in the near future. #GoRoyals

In all fairness, this game will be better than last nights game. I was not in attendence, but I will be in attendence for the ever growing rivalry against these two teams. I say Mason Co by 10-20. Augusta lost Snapp, but still have Owens Crawford & Connor Maddox. That 6th man"the fans" are also a big help to them, but the run of the, beating Mason Co will take another 20 year halt.

Ill take LCA over GRC. Coming off a key win vs Lex Cath, think they take this one by 10+

Mr Henry mearly made the prediction. He isn't focused on State till we win Region (If we do). Right now hos eyes are set on Woodford Co, then Bishop Brossart, then senior night vs Fleming. The Royals scrimmaged NCC in the summer, yes they lost, but the team is better, they have learned from mistakes they made vs Lex Cath & Lincoln Co. Region 9 has 3 storied programs, Cov Cath, NCC & Holmes. This will defo be a fun 3 weeks. Well, quite frankly, he did tell me this while sitting in 3rd period, he also told me though he is looking at Woodford Co, so lets see how he does vs Woodford. I am in school, but have a nice iPad that I use.

Honestly, Dorian Henry wasn't what he is now, but he told me that he is confident about winjing first round of state SHOULD we get there. Yes. Lets focus on District & Region first, then State.

I think Mason Co deserves to be up higher with the statement win against GRC Friday. If Mason takes care of Nicholas, Harrison & Woodford this week, where do they stand?

So why are we complaing about school size? It doesn't matter about school size when it comes to high school ball, it comes to how good the players are on that givin night.

After being upset by Augusta 2 times in a row, we are due for a region title & a trip in the big dance, ALTOUGH, its anyones game. As Dorian said, "worry about GRC first, then the next one" —DH 3rd Period 2/6/15 Anyone can win on any givin night, don't count out St Pat.

Augusta did have a good team, well, a good player, Bach was all they had till last year when Connor Maddox stepped up. I spoke with an Augusta fan this week & she says they beielve that some "bench" players will step up in Snapp's place. Snapp was a big loss to them for the rest of the season. I will be in attndance for all these games. To be honest, I would have liked to play Augusta 1st round, I would have loved to give them payback for two really good years of basketball in MC. Although, this year is just like last year, but with a different result. You & me both! I am SO READY for District & whats going to be Region Tourny. I think MC takes the top of the throne once again & us kids get to cheer on our boys in #RuppArena

So, why exactly would anyone post an upset in the Fieldhouse?
