  1. Awesome piece on him. Coached him in AAU this past year. Jake is a scorer but he's always a team player, in ways. Hope he gets his opportunity to play at the next level.
  2. Quick cardio finisher: Put treadmill on 10% incline at 10 mph 0:00 - 0:40, rest 0:40 - 1:00, run 1:00 - 1:40, rest 1:40 - 2:00, run 2:00 - 2:40, rest 2:40 - 3:00, run 3:00 - 3:40, rest 3:40 - 4:00, run 4:00 - 4:40, rest 4:40 - 5:00, run 5:00 - 5:40, rest 5:40 - 6:00, run 6 sprints sounds easy, but you'll be huffing and puffing by the 3rd minute.
  3. Yes...Actually saw this happen this year in my team's 2nd game of the season. Player A (on the home team, FWIW) was on a breakaway layup. Player B (my teammate) goes up and actually sends the ball to the second row. Lots of body contact. Should have been called a foul. Our coach went ballistic when they called an intentional. I was told the foul was for "excessive contact" (which I've never heard of) despite Player B's successful attempt at the ball.
  4. Cool to see Covington Catholic's assistant coach Joe Frederick on there.
  5. Some people have so much time
  6. There are some YouTube documentaries that make a good case for this. For the record, I don't believe its a hoax. You could get adults involved to keep quiet. You couldn't get the kids to.
  7. "This is ridiculous, it imposes on a women's rights!" It's ridiculous to keep babies' hearts beating. Okay.
  8. Congrats to TMC. From following along in the stats seems like it was a back and forth game. Kicker Will Gingery from Bexley, OH (Columbus) with the game winning 37 yarder. He's in the top 3 in the country in both punting and field goal kicking. Nailed two 50 yarders this season. Great guy too. Looking forward to taking on UW Whitewater (publicly funded 10,000 undergrad enrollment D3 school) next Saturday!
  9. Good call. I think I meant to say in Champion's Classic.
  10. Landed funny on his right leg with less than 10 min to go in first half on foul that was not called. Was rubbing his calf and limped to the locker room. Started and played 2nd half. Appeared to be okay. Duke's Grayson Allen limps off in first half, returns in second half
  11. Grayson Allen at MSG last year vs Kentucky had only 6 points. This year he had 5 points until about 10 min left in the second half, then he started to come alive. Must not be his favorite place to play. As everybody has said, Duke will be fine.
  12. Saturday 11/19 at noon. Two great programs. Wittenberg has players from CCH, Highlands, Holy Cross, and NCC. TMC has players from too many KY high schools to list. Should be a great afternoon of football. I'll be pulling for the Tigers!
  13. There's a picture going around that would get me suspended. Here's my filtered version: "11,000 freaking adults really woke their butts up, got dressed, travelled to a polling location, stood in line, and voted for freaking Harambe."
  14. My college had a "candlelit gathering of peace and unity" last night to "regroup as a student body and move forward as a community" because of the "tensions and emotions from the election." I've seen dozens of facebook posts, Instagram pictures, and snapchat stories of my peers expressing their fears for the future and how they are for the first time not proud to be an American. It's disturbing.
  15. It's really scary to think how when we watch something on TV, we really have no clue if what they are 'reporting' is scripted, if they are standing in front of a green screen, etc. Almost everything we see on screens COULD be staged.
  16. Watched it this week. I can't believe the influence of ALEC. Maybe I've had my head in the sand but that (and the whole doc, really) was shockingly sad.
  17. Sweet for who? Late turnovers in a close game against a good team make it hard to win. Witt needs to improve their run game if they want to win out and make the d3 playoffs. Regardless, it was an exciting, competitive game. Congrats to the Big Red
  18. Usually by graduation there is between 20 and 30 seniors on the team. When you compete against 6 other guys for 1 position, people will quit. Human nature I suppose.
  19. This is a fairly regular practice at D3 schools. My freshman class included 110 football players.
  20. I have no shame. My last season of baseball I was 0-13 with 13 K's.... I then broke my wrist, and took it as a sign from God to stick to the hardwood!
  21. I'll get some hate but... Don't Stop Believin' WAY overplayed:greyalien:
