Any idea on the pre-season scrimmage yet?? Hearing rumors of Henry Clay? Still disappointed Highlands cancelled on us & not bc we've had some recent success against them but I just really enjoyed having an opportunity to go to Highlands & watch a game, such a neat venue!

You are correct, forgot about the white stripes with the white facemasks in 2000(Kevin White change).... There has been a single white stripe way back as well.... The X guys I've spoken to are not fond of altering the logo even though it does look fine....

Interesting on the helmet........ Trinity has gone through some minor changes with the helmet in the past 15 years or so including changing the facemask from gray to white(2000 I believe and I am still not a fan of this, lol) and various shades of green, most recently in 2014 going to a matte forest green vs a glossy look but we haven't messed with the actual logo in decades.

Lexington Lafayette is the D1 capital of KY this year...!! Cannot wait to watch them play the Rocks!!!! Get your popcorn ready.....!!!

Not understanding the "stupid coach away" comment.... I think Male's coach is one of the best in the State if that is who you are referring to.... That Trinity Male game in the playoffs was a coin flip as was the regular season game, it was simply amazing that I had the opportunity to watch both, some of the best football I've ever seen in Kentucky!

Although that philosophy did not bode well for Meade County last season.... Came to Louisville & gave Male all they could handle but yet were blown out at home in the playoffs to Trinity... I still believe it helps though to schedule one of the Big 4.

I was at the Trinity SK Final a few years back, wasn't pretty.... That's why I'm saying play one of those guys during the regular season, then when playoff time comes I think anyone would be better prepared, that's all.

You guys need to schedule X, Trinity, Male or Manual during the regular season, I know you "scrimmage" X but it's not the same thing. It would only help in the long run, esp come playoff time.

Senior to be Jake Woosley will be in the mix as well at QB, started at QB when he was a freshmen for the freshmen team & has played some QB at the JV level as well along with being a starting wide receiver for the Varsity last year.

Agree 1000%, especially about not wearing helmets, it's definitely a safety issue to NOT wear helmets, this is common sense.

Laughing out loud about the comments of it looking like a ladies ring, it's in the shape of a FOOTBALL, not even sure how that's possible someone could think that.... :idunno:

2012 next to the 2014 ring, I like the 2014 way better, the kids absolutely love them and that's all that really matters.

The question is will they be able to get enough elite players to move down to Florida? Male will be just as good and maybe even better than last season. The qb will be Hayden Shelton, I think he will be a senior, he's an extremely mobile and athletic qb unlike Mattingly from last year. He will bring a dynamic to their offense that they haven't had the last 2 years. Mattingly pretty much just sat back there and picked you apart w/ his arm, Shelton will be totally different although he certainly can throw the ball as well. Male will be a tough out for sure as usual.
