Heard CAL beat Mayfield 16-14 in 8th grade to advance. But my question comes in the 7th grade playoffs.... CAL was facing Bowling Green and it was scoreless with about 3 minutes left. CAL turns over on downs at the BG 20. Three plays in a row there is an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and a player was ejected on each of the penalties (three players total, including two of CAL's best players offensively and defensively). I was watching the game on Prepspin and I saw absolutely nothing at all. I had great video stream and the announcers alluded to maybe the CAL players saying something but it didn't look like it. Aided by those penalties, they scored with 44 seconds left and beat CAL 8-0. Anybody there and know what actually happened?

And a freshman at that. Hope he is good for next week...

Take out the Simon Kenton game (probably top 3 offense in Kentucky) and CAL's defense is easily the best

The two became rivals because they were put in a district together and they are among the best year in and year out. I wouldn't call it bad blood; I think it is more of the respect these two schools have for each other.

Depends on the week. Sometimes Lopez runs for 200 and 3 TDs and sometimes Carr throws for 300 yards and 3 TDs

Stoops was there for UK commit (also has Notre Dame offer) Davonte Robinson. Fast and has lots of length for a cornerback. He also play returner and wide receiver for Henry Clay though.
