Mac Jones is the Florida kid.

Gunner Hoak will be at UK in January.

Wood also has offers from Louisville and Cincinnati.

I guess the thinking of having 2 from the 17 class is that PT will be gone which will leave Drew, Phillips, and Hoak as scholarship QBs. Building depth, I guess.

The Davis Mattingly kid from Male isn't too shabby. Walk on Freshman. Plenty of talent on the roster at QB with a lot more coming. But I wouldn't be surprised to see Davis work his way up the depth chart over the next 4 years. He was the best looking pro style passer I've seen around Louisville in the past decade.

 

Regardless, congrats to Walker and his family. Many more to come - keep up the great work. Enjoyed watching him against the Rocks.

He will NOT be a QB at the next level. He is an " athlete " ie. Randall Cobb. WR, kick return specialist, wildcat package. He is very quick and elusive.

Doesn't matter if they ask him to play slot ,qb ,wide receiver or water boy ?!?!? He got a offer from a sec school. Congrats kid! Keep ballin.

^^ Did I say he was awful as a QB or did I say anything that he will be not good at? I said he won't be a QB because he can contribute more to a team as an ATHLETE. ^^
