  1. Here it is: 7th Region Coach of the Year and 1st year CAL coach Jana Costner's contract has not been renewed. Big time news.
  2. Really looking forward to that CAL-SK game....
  3. What was the score between DeSales and NCC, and what were the scores between CAL and DeSales? Oh yeah, CAL beat DeSales 17-0 then lost to them 7-6 in a game that could have gone either way (CAL had many chances). NCC lost to DeSales 26-0..
  4. With what CAL returns, I think CAL is better than NCC....

  14. Not sure if preferred walk ons are on here, but Male QB Davis Mattingly to Kentucky.
  15. I kinda think so too. Everyone was confused but I think the refs just did it wrong.

  17. So I am watching the Valley-CAL freshman game and it is in OT after a Valley player hit a three with 2 seconds left to tie in regulation. There were at least 3 technicals in that quarter. In OT, there was a very unusual play. CAL is bringing the ball up the court to beat the press and the PG passes to a big man who misses a shot. The PG tries to save the ball from going out of bonds (long rebound) but is pushed out of bounds in the air. The refs call a foul on the Valley player (that pushed the CAL player in the air) and then issue a double technicals on the Valley and CAL player (for jawing at each other after the foul is called). The technical on the CAL player was his 5th foul but CAL was in the double bonus. The refs bring every player behind the half court line like they are shooting technical free throws for the CAL player (on double technicals, I thought there were no free throws). The CAL player misses the first and the refs bring all the players back into the lane (to rebound the 2nd free throw if it is missed). He ended up making the second but there is my question. What if the CAL player misses the free throw? The CAL player was fouled out so what would happen if he got the rebound? I understand the foul on the Valley player (the push) was before the double technicals, but shouldn't the Valley coach choose a shooter? Why would the refs bring the players behind the half court line and then bring them back after the first free throw? Thanks.
