At one point in the 2nd half the team foul situation was E-15 B-3. (hard to do the way Ballard plays defense.) If I'm not mistaken Ballard scored only 3 times from the field in the 4th quarter. They were 17 for 18 from the charity stripe. (Very good shooting, got them back in the game) Eastern missed a running lay-up and a put back at the buzzer. Should be some great games in Region play.

Were you at the last two games that these two played. 2pt contest and a 1pt contest. Not sure Renner or Henley would agree with you. But you are certainly entitled to your opinion.

Did Eastern do this with their best player not playing? I read something on one of the threads that they had dismissed their best player from the team last week and wouldn't have a chance in this game. Evidently someone stepped up for Eastern and made a game of it.

Different game if he does. Refs tried to be the show instead of letting guys play and decide winner.

OK, I am trying to piece this together from the posts above. Eastern had a 7 or 8 point lead in the fourth quarter yet they constantly fouled Ballard and Ballard went 17-18 from the foul line in the fourth to get the win. Is that what happened?

News flash... Ballards really good. It's a rivalry game. Ballard has beaten then three times this season. That's all folks!

Ballard has bounced back strong this year after graduating Kelan Martin and Quentin Snider and losing two players (I think--Malik Dowe..&...???) to transfers. Of course, Anthony Eaves coming in didn't hurt.
