Harrisons pitching was preety good, just couldn't string any hits together. Their 3rd baseman is tough as nails. We should be just fine, Leicht pitched a good game. She is looking more confident on the mound which is good to see.

Let's remove the officials out of the Medical field in all sports. Some are not qualified to be officials, let alone diagnose medical conditions. When you give officials the right to play Doctor, you are setting yourself up for a lawsuit. Believe me, I have 1st hand knowledge of that! My son was a victim of their ignorance of the Medical field and got kicked out of the Regional Tournament for wrestling. He was the #1 Ranked kid in the State, and an official overruled a Medical KHSAA Skin Release Form(That was signed by a Doctor) and they overruled an On-Site Medical Trainer. Let's remove them from the Medical Decisions, it can cause much pain.

I know of 1 kid at State this year that was disqualified for Ringworm, he had a note, but an On-Site Medical Professional overruled the note. I have never heard of an official overruling a Medical Skin note and or a Trainer??? There is no reason for them to do so? They are not more qualified than a Dr or an On-site Medical Professional. This is a very sore subject for me and for my son, but we have moved on and we hope it doesn't happen to any other wrestler.

He is an 8th grader. You can get held out of a tournament for ringworm if you don't have a skin release form from a Dr. There is always a bunch of kids with notes at each tournament.

He is going to continue to wrestle, I told him not to stop doing what he loves because of an ignorant decision. I told him he would have to stop about everything in the real world if he did that lol. He will representing Team KY in Illinois this year in April. I'm proud of him :thumb:
