  1. Never said kid couldn't play.. just a question. Final four in the region .. john, etown, Taylor , larue .. just my opinion
  2. Will Zion Age out his junior year? Is that why he leacing after his sophomore year? Just asking how old he is
  3. Sad thing is we will see no Adair vS. TAYLOR in the regular season.. looks like it would be another thriller. I'll take Stallworth and TC depth and experience to play for the regional title.
  4. John Hardin has 3 players to score 20-25ppg?? No , Mickey is the only one against the competition they will play score 20-25ppg. The other two don't shoot the ball well enough to score 20ppg! They will have a talented team but they don't shoot the ball near as good as Adair County did last year. Yes Ezra Oliver had a good regional tourney, BUT what Taylor County showed was toughness and found ways to win it all when it showed most. The region should be a fun one to watch this year, I hope we have some teams that do well statewide.
  5. "Lavar Brand of Basketball" wouldn't have let a less talented Taylor County beat them when it mattered most. Yes , everyone loves to watch that brand but what wins it in the end is playing both sides of the ball. I think Adair will score the ball against some lower .500 teams.. but unless they have a tremendous off season with development I do believe the better region/ state teams beat them. Last year Adair team was talented 1-5 so they could play faster to do those things. I don't believe they can play that fast this year to score 80+ points a game
  6. Has Zion showed up to school yet? I'm hearing from his teammates he's not their yet. Any truth to this?
  7. Part of that reason they only gave up 57.3ppg was because of strength of schedule was weak
  8. all these transfers and what ifs! lol I oov ky high school ball! Haha.. BTW CAMPBELLSVILLE VS TAYLOR COUNTY IS STILL ALIVE SO THATS A PLUS!
  9. Top players : 1-5 1.Mickey Pearson-jh 2.Zion Harmon-Adair 3.Tre'von Smith-TC 4. Shane King-Larue 5. Malik Wright/Witherspoon -jH 7. Darius Harding-Etown 8. Lez Means -Marion 9. Jon Shoulders-Hart 10. De'jhn Irvin -TC
  10. I think it's just hard to win a region with one guy is all I'm saying. Yes he is arguably the best player in ky regardless of any class. His suppsorting cast will all need to step up.
  11. I wouldn't go as far as top 2. Anthony Payne has enrolled back in Indiana .. and their younger teams were very below average. Region not overwhelming , but I wouldn't put them # 2. 1. John Hardin 2. Taylor Co 3. Larue Co 4.Etown 5. Who knows 5.
  12. Daughter is going to western.. makes sense to me why he would
  13. I Believe stallworth and Johnson played for Braden during that run he had with john hardin
  14. 1.Taylor 2.john 3. Larue 4.Etown 5.wash co 6. Marion ????
  15. Taylor Co beats Madisonville North Hopkins 77-52
  16. Casey county not in the top 5 is crazy. Return 3 (4) year starters and the best scorer in school history in Jake smith. Which brings my next opinion, to not have an almost 2,000 point player and the guy who had 27 vs Mercer county (12th region title Game) in top 5 players again is crazy. Noah Young? Really? Let's be honest about this he's a good player but not in conversation for a top 5 player.
  17. Goodin and tony Jackson? Yes there is major separation between those two.. Don't compare with Q Goodin has to tony jackson because Q Goodin is the best "overall player" to come thru this region in the last decade. Tony is a great player but Q was a top 100 player according to some. Tony Jackson? Not quite....
  18. Reitz has worked and is from the area with a lot of ties through growing up with a (HOF) coach in his dad. Has some experience but is young and if they give him a shot will do well. If he doesn't get that I hear that he will go to Fleming county for an Asst job. Or I'm sure he would land at Taylor county HS
