It is definitely open and they are already reaching out to coaches to gauge interest.

I think elizabethtown will be better than what people think. You can never count out coach haire. Balfour will still have the pieces to run thru the 17th. In the 18th I think its definitely Larue county district to lose as they will be one of the top teams in region. Larue County will have a chance to be a top 25 team before the end of the season with veteran guard play and shooters all around. Coach Childress always has his teams ready to play. I believe in the 19th you will see another year of a competitive district, but I think Thomas Nelson has the edge of being the top team in the district pre season with bardstown /bethlehem right behind. Thomas Nelson and bardstown had the best JV teams this past season and return the best player in the district in Tyler Bartley. 20th district will be led by taylor county but I believe Marion County is not far behind with the team coach thomas brings back and pre season all region candidate Gabriel Washington . You never what coach breeze has up his sleeve but I would never count them out.

There will be at least (2) upsets . Taylor Vs Thomas Nelson will be closer than what folks expect You never count out a James Haire team vs Caverna larue will make north play a slow style and coach Childress is one of the best coaches in the 5th. Adair Rolls over on bardstown , but that’s not an upset.

19th District final comes down to Thomas Nelson vs Bardstown! Both games were a war! Hats off to the Generals for making the 5th region tourney for only the 3rd time in history!

Thomas Nelson knocks off #1 seed Nelson County in the final district game of the 19th in regular season. That district tourney will be the most competitive district tourney in the region .

The 19th district for Thomas nelson can end in a 3rd seed.. the game vs Bethlehem is what matters. Even if Bethlehem beats bardstown they still have to beat Thomas nelson for the 3rd seed.

Adair didn't play well last night vs Bardstown.

Nelson has beaten some teams but overall there schedule is really weak. That district is still wide open.

Wouldn't be surprised if Boogie Cook suits back up for CAL this season

Watched Thomas Nelson vs Green Co last night NFHS Green Co 79/ Thomas Nelson 69 Green Co jumped out 24-13 and then Thomas Nelson settled in and it was battle the whole way thru . Thomas Nelson tied it up in the 4th and then green co pushed to win by 10. Eric James led the way with 25pts . Thomas Nelson’s Tyler Bartley had 21 pts. Good battle between 2 fifth region teams. Thomas Nelson is better than most folks give them credit for. Green Co is a good team, and hopefully everyone is eligible because that will be key.

Really don't think Green Co will be as good as everyone thinks. Everything would have to fall into place for that to happen.
