Is there a HHS frosh thread? Birds,Camels should be a good game.

Most of my post was talking about T's O line. I bolded my post talking about T's D. T will have their hands full with WC. Hopefully home field advantage will make a difference.

I like the Rocks at home. Go Rocks!

Obviously I wasn't at this game. Didn't sound like T handed anything to anybody. Sounded more like Carmel's D line was getting the best of T's O line. According to some, T's QB was pressured all night. That could be the reason for the T's turnovers. I always pull for the KY teams against out of state opponents, but to me Carmel played better on this particular night. It seems that most seasons T has problems covering the long ball. Didn't Carmel score the last touchdown on a quick slant for big yardage? How does T correct the problem of giving up the long ball?

One missed TD pass would not have made a difference in the outcome. Add 6 points to Coopers total points. Have a nice day coach.

Seems like "if" has shown up a lot on the T, X, and HHS threads. If a frog had wings.............? Is my favorite.

The enthusiasm by both teams in this game was crazy. Lineman giving each other high fives after a great play, I haven't seen that in a while.

Half time adjustments were great for the Birds. Birds also had a play maker at QB. That was a thriller for sure.

In no particular order: Trotwood Madison Cincinnati St. X (Nationally ranked) Christopher Columbus (Florida 8A runner up) Many of the HHS vs CCH games.

The best version is the "mean Bird." Perhaps somebody could add a picture?

How does CCH end up in a HHS thread if nobody is thinking about it? :lol2:

I'm with you SS. After reading the posts about HHS the last two years, the haters would have a field day. I can hear them now. HHS went to 4A to duck BG,CCH, South Warren and so on. Does it really matter if HHS is 4A or 5A? They will compete in either class.

Are you saying since CCH won a state title in 5A, and should have another shot at the 5A title this coming season, that people will want to separate the publics and privates in NKY? That's funny. :lol2: I won't bring my winning tradition dog in this fight, but, a couple other teams/programs in NKY might chime in. :wave:

Your entitled to your opinion, but I'm not buying what your selling. Congrats to CCH, again, on their state title.

Don't know why he transferred, that's his business. Do you really think it mattered where he played high school ball? :lol2: Been a pro for a long time. Mitchell did not play in the state title game his senior year. They won state without him. :thumb:

Highlands has 23 state titles. Do you really think Highlands was the most talented team in all of those games? Do you think believing they were the best had a big part in winning some of those games. I do. As far as disappointment goes, most kids, learn to deal with it at an early age. I guess you wouldn't know about that. Probably too late, stay classy. :sssh:

* ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!! CCH has a D1 SOPH (Mayer). If your an HHS coach and your not trying to figure out how to stop him TODAY, better get on it.

#2 figure out who the most talented players are.(Don't say there isn't any talent.) #2A Take those players and figure out where they will make the biggest impact. #2B Learn how to prepare to recover an onside kick. #2C Figure out who the starting QB is before the 1st round of the playoffs. #2D Have the players buy into the program and not just the HC. #2E Learn how to make adjustments in game, or at halftime. Hope the coaches and players prepare for a great season, it won't be easy.
