Super sophs play varsity, the JV team that played on Monday were the back ups to those super sophmores... Pretty scary. The last two Male freshman teams have beat X....and their back ups won on Monday. Male shows to have depth, I think X has a loss coming.

That makes them 6-0.

Male's JV team is undefeated. Max preps was corrected by male staff member today. No varsity starters were used on JV.

I don't think you can put state runner up teams as underrated teams coming in..... I think that you should be reconsider your definition of underrated. Possibly just start another thread about how your team has higher expectations this year.

I doubt that.....

Fourth meeting between these two teams, Male leads the match-up 2-1. Game is being held at Floyd Central on Friday night? How do these teams match up,?, who wins?, who is going??

Not sure the details of how the scrimmage will be played out (game scenario w/ or w/o special teams) How do these teams match up?? Anyone going and going to be able to give updates?

After reaching the state finals in the 2010 season the Bulldogs have been rebuilding and re-scheming ever since compiling two mediocre and sub-par seasons of 4-8 (2011), and 6-6 (2012). It would seem that the move into the super district has been a rough transition for Louisville Male, however, being the 4th place district seed has been able to win the first round of the playoffs against two separate cross district 1st seeds (Meade Co. and Lafayette). Chris Wolfe has an overall head coaching record of 101-65, with a 21-18 at Male with one state championship appearance and 6 playoff wins. While the varsity has had its struggles the future is looking bright as the 2011 and 2012 freshman classes have a combined record of 15-2 and an incoming sophomore class that went 9-0 with quality wins over Trinity and St. X. Although young the Bulldogs looks like they may be turning the corner on the district. The Bulldogs had good appearences during summer practices at summer 7-on-7's at Campbellsville and University of Kentucky. There are currently three athletes competing for QB position, the offense returns 5 starters and 4 starters on defense. Players to Watch: RB- #2 Ellis Cain- JR- 6'-1" 195lbs- started at the end of the season last year as running back and had a large impact for the Bulldogs. OL/DL- #55 Houston Sparkman- JR- 6'-0" 220 lbs- All District Selection as a Sophomore WR/DB- #11 Keion Wakefield- SO- 6'-0" 170 lbs- Went to top off season camps and was offered by university of Kentucky WR/RB- #23 Marque Northington- SR- 5'-8" 170lbs- WLKY player of the week
