So I was looking at khsaa and looking at power houses from late 90's and trying to find successful teams with predominantly young teams. So with that being said, what up with Nelson County? I know Bardstown HS draws decent athletes and the addition of Thomas Nelson HS can impact numbers, but the only recent winning team was product of a weak schedule? Just curious.

Trevor Carnell is a candidate for Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of KY. Obviously in good company with Madison Southern's Harris. Haven't heard who the other candidates are. Not sure is Harris' injury hinders his chance of winning this award?

Bullitt Central beat Bullitt East on Friday.

Bullitt East is down this year. People don't really know that because they played a close game with Boyle and have a terribly weak schedule. Boyle drop two touchdown passes in the 14-6 loss to Boyle game, if that would help change minds a little. Plus I heard they may be starting a frosh at center this week against Central Hardin because of "practice injuries."

DeSales looked really good. Very sharp routes, defensive side didn't blow too many coverages. Overall best looking team there, we'll deserving of the trophy. Couldn't keep up with both fields but heard St. X had a rough day. Real surprise was the two bullitt schools in the final 4, neither of them being East. How did other teams finish?

You can read as much or as little as you would like. I was just asking what would solid be for them? I can assume their schedule for 2014, so what are their wins if they go .500?? Pretty sure they lost one of their recent RB's to Ballard. And from what the Pioneer News published they inheritted an undefeafed A Team (incoming freshman class) Please don't assume that I'm a crap starter, or assume I'm with any school.

Newspaper article said last time this job was open there were 25 candidates, wonder if the number of applicants will be higher or lower. Billings has from what I have seen turned the program in the right direction... what is the chances they hire young versus old in this one??? Someone that would commit years versus finishing a career with....?/
