  1. October 18.....DeSales and CAL.....should be a doozy.
  2. If he is a nice player, then that would make the Warriors definite contender in the 15th
  3. Like a rumor that a big kid from Baltimore, Maryland has transferred in?
  4. I am pretty much over the Rupert thing. Four times?, please give someone else a chance. I think I prefer the show without any old retreads. It would be pretty funny to see Rupert knocked out first. Its early but I will say the guy with the former drug addiction has a good shot.
  5. I guess then everyone is afraid to play them? Outside the LIT/KOB etc tourneys they really dont play much of a schedule.
  6. If you get the chance to go its well worth it. MoCo has very nice facilities. The gym and new football stadium are fantastic for high school kids. Nice ppl too.
  7. Ashland/Russell is a pretty big rival game in any sport they play but I thought the Tomcats would win this one easily. Great game by the Red Devils.

  9. Not totally surprised that Ballard is not in it, they generally do not travel very far east in the state to play. Trinity played in the Classic last year also.
  10. I am sure you mean Tre Ivory and not Stafford. Holmes beat Trinity this summer 56-55 on a last second floater in the lane by Bolden. (Ivory was not playing that day due to an all-star game conflict)
  11. Yeah, I will definitely be backtracking on the Ashland pick also if its true that the Dixson kid from Ashland has indeed transferred to Lexington Bryan Station.
  12. Seriously? You list the Stafford kid over Tre Ivory?
  13. Prior to the Burns kid tearing his ACL, I would have said Fleming County might dominate the 16th. Without him, they say he might be back in December but I think that might be wishful thinking, their low post presence is weak and I might give the nod to Ashland.
  14. They beat Ballard in the Derek Smith Shootout this summer. Granted Snider was not playing (although he was there on the bench watching). But Trinity was clearly a better "team". It will be a tossup of a team verses individual athletes.

  16. Don Gullett, who played professional baseball with the Cincinnati Reds, went to McKell High Schoool. He holds the record for most points scored in a football game of 72 pts (11 TD's and 6 extra points). McKell merged with Wurtland High School (the Warriors) and Greenup High School (the Tigers) in 1972 to form Greenup County High School (the Musketeers)
  17. They are not a team to not take lightly in the stacked 11th region. Jarod Griffin is a really nice guard that is very underrated. He plays with a ton of grit. Tanner Johnson is a deadeye three point shooter. They can score in a hurry. They have the nucleus to be a very nice team. I really enjoy watching them play.
  18. Totally agree, very underrated. I would take a team full of players like Jarod, just good tough players.
  19. Tanner Johnson a "great player"? That is a stretch at this time. Sure he can knock down the three but still kinda only plays on one end of the floor, but a good shooter like he is can usually find a place somewhere. Actually I really like the Griffin kid on LexCath. He is a gritty tough player who just needs to get a little stronger
  20. Nah not really, but the top three on the list are pretty good when I look back at it. I am sure there are alot of other good kids, I just put the ones that I have seen in person play.

  22. Just to be clear. He watched Trinity practice once. He was never enrolled at Trinity or really ever close to attending Trinity.
  23. Its my understanding now that he is back at Central
