  1. Unfortunately for the Red Devils this season will be a struggle. Over the summer the starting point guard had surgery to remove a tumor from his leg and last month the starting center broke his leg for the second time this year. Hopefully the boys will be okay but they will be up against it this season.
  2. Great field. Knott County/Henry Clay first round game should be a nice one. Looking forward to this tourney.
  3. Maybe they need use Bonnafon at DB? Its not heard of for high school kids to play both ways.
  4. Unfortunately it looks like the men will be stupid again. Cutting each others throats and end up giving the power to the women then wondering what happened. Not happy that Aras got blindsided but going to RI may be a blessing in diguise unless Vytas follows him there
  5. Yeah, Trinity looked good that day. The Ramser kid was money.
  6. Should be a great game, the one last year at NCC was a good one too with a great atmosphere. Looking at Trinity's schedule there are alot of tough games: Cov. Holmes, Johnson Central, Henry Clay, Lafayette, Scott County, St. Xavier, NCC, LexCath plus their tournaments,,,,whoa
  7. Trinity will be led by its two seniors Tre Ivory and Craig Owens. They will be counted on for their leadership of the highly touted junior class. Spaulding, Ramser, Levitch, Theinaman, and Stafford have a very high ceiling if they improve as the season progresses. With probably the toughest schedule in the state they might fall a few times but in the end they match up perfectly with Ballard. Dont be surprised if Trinity gets to Rupp.
  8. Pairings for Fast Lane Classic, November 30 at Lawrence County 12: 45 - Hazard vs Betsy Layne 2: 30 - Johnson Central vs Lou. Trinity 4: 15 - Lou. Ballard vs Covington Holmes 6 : 00 - Lawrence County vs Fleming County 7: 45 - Sheldon Clark vs Tug Valley,WVa
  9. Well I did leave them out because unfortunately I dont even think the ADI considers them even an afterthought. :(
  10. Ballard doesnt seem to mind that their star player is from Fern Creek though. Its all just excuses not to play. Its all just posturing.
  11. Ballard and Trinity is a big game when they play but I dont consider it a rival game unless they play each other in most sports during the regular season. Ballard (like some other JCPS schools) will not schedule Trinity for regular season games in most sports.
  12. Dec 2, Scott County at Louisville Ballard Dec 14, Lexington Catholic at Knott County Central
  13. Saturday January 25, 2014. Joe B Hall Classic at MoCo.....Covington Holmes vs Louisville Trinity
  14. Fair points. I base my judgement of Ramser over Waynie from them playing together on the same AAU team in which it appeared that Ramser was the "go to guy" on the team. thanks
  15. Waynie is a nice player but who would you put him ahead of on the top ten? Also I think that Owens and Ramser of Trinity would be ahead of him too.
  16. Sorry if I just missed the thread, but no poll or thread for probably the biggest game in the state this week when DeSales visits CAL?
  17. The ADI does a poor job on the east schools in the 16th region. Fleming/Elliott/Lewis/Rowan/Carters rarely get much coverage and seem to be afterthoughts. Their main focus has always seemed to be Ashland/Boyd/Greenup/Russell with a touch of Raceland/Fairview
  18. Matt Rose plays for Lexington Christian Academy not LexCath.
  19. Have seen Snider play since he was in the eighth grade. He is not a pass first player.
  20. Would have been super if they could have pulled in PCC or KCC
  21. Since Trinity plays Holmes in the Joe B. Hall Classic, I doubt they will pair them together. Also I just dont see them going all the way to Louisa to play Ballard. Would be fun to see a Holmes/Ballard game though. I say they will have JC play Trinity. Just a guess.
  22. Its my understanding that Louisville Trinity has also committed to the Fast Lane Classic this year again. Not sure of the opponent
  23. I hope it does make it back to SC. We went last year and had a great time. It was a very well run event and the people were super nice
