I don't know about that for a Rose Hill fan it was like watching a car accident in slow motion. I will say that each time I go to the Class A I come away with great feeling. This is a great event that makes being at small school even more special.

I was abit remissed in not mentioning Tony. I think he honored the number 50the best way possible today by playing a great game for Rose Hill. Tony has made great improvement over the past 3 years. I just wish he wasn't a senior.

I didn't realize that Lewis had 19 that's quite a performance. FWIW, I don't think effort was the problem. To me it was more of an execution problem. But I agree they have their hands full tomorrow.

I was impressed with his composure in the 4th. I thought they had 1 senior in the program. It's not likely but I could be wrong.

Let me explain about the last shot in regulation. It has been proven that with less than .7 seconds it is impossible to catch and shoot. The officials even meet at midcourt prior to the play and I imagine that is what they discussed because as soon as the Hazard player caught the ball they immediately waved it off. Whitaker play great down the stretch and made a huge play to give Hazard a 2 point lead late. Hazard is very young I believe they only have 1 senior.

Rose Hill had 3 empty trips with a 15 point lead toward the end of the third quarter and had a couple of missed front ends on 1 and 1's. Give Hazard credit they made big plays down the stretch. I thought when Euton hit a long 3 to push the lead back to 12 or so in the 4th that RH had it but it wasn't to be. This one hurts because it was there for the taking but I think we will look back at this weekend with fond memories in the future. Individually Mike Davis played well again today.

Your last statement is incorrect. Newman is correct all the games he listed were regular season. Rose Hill traveled to Elliott in 2006 for the class a. I'm not trying to start a fight but I have first hand account of what happened. Both schools were interested in renewing the contract. Rose Hill wanted to move the game back and Elliott didn't want to so they agree to part ways. No animosity, no hard feelings.

From what I understand Rose Hill wanted to move the game from the season opening slot to later in the season and Elliott didn't want to so they did schedule each other. True or untrue that is what I was told. I wish they could work it out and get back to playing every year.

Survive and advance. It seems like every team that wins a tournament has to go through a game like this one. Great game plan by LC they executed their strategy and hit some timely shots. Everyone has been asking for Rose Hill to have more balance and they got it tonight. I have not seen the final scoring totals but I remember Euton 6, Arthur 2, Davis 7, Bush 2, Barber 10, Jackson 13. That's at least close. Free throw shooting was a problem down the stretch except for Barber who nailed 2 big ones to push the lead to 6. I would expect Murray to employee a similar strategy tomorrow.

Excuses, excuses, excuses. Elliott shot bad, Ashland shot bad, Fairview shot bad, Bath had chances and blew them, the referees were bad, Boyd turned it over to much, Lewis was tired, Morgan had an injured player and the list goes on and on. Does Rose Hill ever win or does their opponents just lose? How about a Rose Hill excuse. When Bath beat them Jackson fouled out with 6 miniutes remaining in the 3rd quarter. Like Uncle Jed said polls should reflect who is playing the best at that given moment in time. Right now that team, based on recent performances, is Rose Hill. You may find that painful or unacceptable but that's how it is. It might be different in 3 weeks and if it is I will be the first one to say to give credit where it is do.
