  1. And one that he made. Just to set the record straight Jackson did miss a dunk but he did score on that possession.
  2. Jackson ended with 31 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 steals. 1-3 on 3's and 14-17 on 2's.
  3. Pitino got 70 million over 7 years, Tubby got paid off so he would leave and now this.
  4. The performance tonight by Chad Jackson was the best I have seen in many a year. I believe I heard he had a triple double with 31 points. He scored off the dribble, in the post, off rebounds, in transitions, on mid range jumpers and behind the arc. Simply unbelievable tonight.
  5. I'll take care of my own worrying. Any way Ellioott and Greenup play first should I not care who wins or how it might effect Rose Hill?
  6. Easier to be close when you can go back and edit your posts.:lol:
  7. I think you already did. Seriously I'm happy this happened. I would have renamed the arena after him if that's what it took to get rid of him.
  8. Wounded tiger syndrome. I am proud to be a fan of this team.
  9. Not before Pitino does. Personally I think every SEC school should retire his jersey for bringing parity to the SEC.
  10. Oldrambler answered my question before I could post it.:scared:
  11. Did I hear that there has never been a team win 10 games in the SEC that didn't get a bid or did I misunderstand?
  12. I'm somewhat suprised by this outcome. On the other hand as a Rose Hill fan I am glad to see Bath gone. No disrespect to Ashland just that Bath is a bad matchup for the Royals. Now if Greenup can just beat Elliott. Congradulations to the Tomcats.
  13. Once again if Ashland shoots a decent percentage they are a tough out. The problem is that they have be so erratic shooting the ball that it is difficult to completely buy into them. As for a prediction I will take Bath in a thight one by 5. This has more to do with how good I think Bath is than anything. Clemons is a great player and as stated before the x factor is Metz.
  14. Neither does anyone else. My real question is does Rowan have anyone who can handle against Rose Hill's pressure because they will sure test them. If Rowan isn't strong with the ball it will be a big margin.
  15. If you are speaking of me then I must say that I have great respect for their coaches and players. Fans are fans and the vast, vast majority, even you:D are great. But when ever someone uses the radio to attack children, whether by ridiculing them or misrepresenting things, then I have to take exception.
  16. I stand corrected. I still say it just makes the win all that much sweeter knowing that it is causing this much distress.
  17. A few notes. 1. Shooterx3 is partially correct. The game was a 8 point game with right at a miniute left and Rose Hill seemed to be in complete control. Ashland hits a couple of threes, Rose Hill misses two front ends and the game got tight pretty quick. However, the final score wasn't the closest Ashland got. They actually closed within 1 point. 2. I understand that Mike Davis was referred to as a transfer on the radio. Mike has been at Rose Hill since kindergarden with the exception of a couple of months during his 8th grade year. So to refer to him as a transfer is a stretch at best. I find it interesting that Malloy isn't referred to as a transfer from Holy Family. Maybe, it is because 40% of Ashland's starters are Holy Family boys. 3. If Mr. Martin is complaining that means Rose Hill is scoring more points than his team. Trust me he didn't make any negative remarks 5 years ago when Ashland won by 60. That my friends is a pretty good trade off.
  18. I think that too much is made of the officiating. The bottomline is that Ashland shot 7-11 from behind the arc and 20-23 from the free throw line. That kind of percentages will keep you in most every game.
  19. Onetoya, those are might kind words coming from a diehard Ashland supporter and they are much appreciated. I too hope to see another matchup between these two teams in Morehead because it means that they are in the finals. :thumb:
  20. Spirited effort by Ashland and they should have confidence heading into the regional tournament. Rose Hill lead by 8 to 13 points almost the entire second half. The positive for Rose Hill is that Ashland shot the ball extremely well and lived on the foul line and yet the Royals found a way to win. Kudos to Johnny Bush, Scott Gambill, and Alex Malloy for their outstanding play tonight. It should be noted that 6 of Rose Hill's 13 free throws came when Ashland was fouling to stop the clock.
  21. I don't mean this in a bad way but why would anyone born after 1990 be intimidated by the Ashland jersey?
