That is roster for The Ville not the Louisville Magic. Several players from the Magic 16u team last year will be on 17u this year along with some new faces.

Wayne is going to be hard to beat by anybody. Those boys just know how to play ball and they shoot lights out.

Isn't Team Manimal having a 17u team this year. Really enjoyed watching the 15u team last year at state. Still early so I'm sure there is still going to be some player movement.

Quentin Gooden leaving Hoop Dreams for St. LOUIS Eagles will hurt the 16u a little bit. Plus they lose Carson Williams also. HD 17u will be loaded. Don't sleep on Louisville Magic 17u. Will have a very good team that will compete with anybody. Should be a good summer of AAU basketball

Video shows Blevins throwing the first elbows . Period!! And yes the referee was doing all he could to get noticed. He was the same idiot who called technical on Boyle Co against WJ over the free throw situation. Like I said, Elkins got ejected, so should Blevins. Wayne had no answer for Elkins down low and it changed the entire game.

LINCOLN had no answer for Edwards . I love that kids game. Not super athletic but just plays ball. Doesn't force things, plays at his pace, can best you inside and out, and plays hard. Kid is a leader and great teammate. Looked like to me SW had Taylor frustrated for a lot of the game. Didn't get in the lane as much as he usually does. Conway had a bunch of shots rim out and didn't have a really good shooting night. Still ended up with 18 tho. I thought Lincoln got a big lift from the Cornelius kid. Played a very solid game battling inside. Gaskin from SW is a load underneath as is Edwards

All I'm going to say is Boyle Co watched the video and came out of the locker room after the game and said that Blevins was the first one to throw an elbow. Several of them actually. From my viewpoint it looked like Blevins started it. Either way Elkins should have kept his cool and not retaliated. It's always the 2nd one to get caught. The official should have called double technicals instead of grandstanding. Both players should have been ejected or both should have got technicals. No way Elkins should have been ejected and not Blevins. Changed the whole game. Boyle could have laid down but they battled back led by Hagen Tyler who scored 24 points in the 2nd half. Props to Wayne Co tho. Those boys play smart and sound basketball and make you pay for every mistake you make. They remind me alot of my team at Boyle in '98 that won the region. Just a bunch of good all around ballplayers

Hagen had a rough game. He gets alot of buckets from moving without the ball and setting his defender up. Henderson face guarded him the entire game and did a great job on him. Still gotta find a way to get loose. Started standing and not moving without ball and got frustrated. Look for him to really step his game up against Wayne and come out firing. His teammates picked him up against West Jess but it's going to take a vintage Hagen Tyler game to beat wayne co. Problem is Wayne Co has a defender in Jason Perkins that is just like Will Henderson and u know Rodney Woods is going to try and do something to slow Hagen down. Last game he went Box and 1 and triangle and 2. Should be a a great game

totally agree. The kid has to use his head and realize he already has a T and officials are going to have a short leash with him. No matter what keep your mouth shut and not do anything to get another T and ejected. Hope it doesn't end up costing PRP. Would like to see D Lo get to rupp

That's what sports is all about !! Your not human if that doesn't choke you up a little bit. What sportsmanship shown by the losing team!! Awesome

Camryn Jones and Ronnie Carson were suspended for missing practice. How in the world could they miss a practice right before region?? That is just unbelievable to me. Lincoln Co got very lucky. Don't know if East would have won but losing your 2 best players hurts any teams chances .

12th region with loads of young talent. 5 players selected. Hagen Tyler, Ronnie Carson, Timmy Taylor , Jacob Conway , and Peyton Woods. Don't be surprised if one or maybe even 2 of these players make the team . Can't think of a better natural PG then Taylor and IMO Tyler is the best scorer in the junior class (trying not to be to biased). Carson is probably the 2nd best scorer in the class. Going to depend on what the coaches want to go with . If they go guard heavy or big man heavy. I would say it depends on what Indiana has and they will try to match up wth them. Should be a very competitive tryout. I can't ever remember a player from Boyle Co getting invited to tryout.

Must have done something to get suspended for 2 games. I'm not denying that Taylor is one of the top PG in the state. He makes u pay for every mistake a defender makes. I still don't knw why people try to reach and steal the ball from him. Your not going to steal the rock from him. Just move your feet and stay in front of him and make him a scorer. When he gets in the lane he is looking to pass not score. IMO that's what makes him a great PG. He is always looking for his teammates. His weakness is his shooting ability. He is a decent shooter but I would take my chances with him shooting the ball instead of racking up assist after assist. The knock on him from everybody in the region is his attitude and he is known to take quite a few cheap shots and talk alot of trash. Saying that I do believe you have to play with a little attitude on the court and everybody talks a little smack but there's no place for cheap shots. I mean no disrespect to the kid bc he is one of the best PG to come thru the 12th region in a long time

32 points and 31 boards . Unreal!! How did they lose this game!! Whoever lands this kid will be getting a stud. On the floor and in the classroom. Seems like a really good kid with a good head on his shoulders. Wish him the best

Colton Elkins from Boyle Co would probably lead the state in blocks if the KHSAA kept track of it . Has to average around 4 blocks a game and has several games with over 6 blocks. One of the best shot blockers I've seen in a long time.

Whoever is getting the 12th region officials I feel sorry for you. Now there is a couple good ones but for the most part they are terrible!!

Do only seniors win region player of the year award?? Daulton Peters named 12th region player of the year. No disrespect to the kid bc he is a great player but I can think of 4 or 5 other players that should have won it. IMO it should hav went to any of these 5 players with Peters in the running: Justin Edwards- SW Hagen Tyler- BC Ronnie Carson- EJ Peyton Woods- Wayne Co Daulton Peters- WJ

Yea I'm glad he got it against west jessamine. He lit them up his freshmen year after the west jess player blatantly pushed him in the back on a break away layup. Lit them up again tonight !! I've been waiting for him to throw one down all year long. He hasn't really had a break away to do it. Not a lot of 1000 point scorers in Boyle Co history

I'm not sure who is 2nd. Going to look into it. I would say Jeff Orberson is in top 5. Hagen could finish 2nd all time, definitely in top 5

Great accomplishment. Basically did it in 2 years. Only played sparingly as a freshmen. Just a junior, Tyler will go down as one of the best ever at Boyle Co.

all time leading scorer is Derek Springate with 2200 points . Played with me. Great player .
