  1. Campbell county won -Brossart lost- end of story -not sure who "their feelings " you are referring to -please MOVE ON
  2. FYI end of the update thread is incorrect -it has Brossart winning
  3. I think most (if not all ) of the Brossart faithful pretty much expected this game to have this outcome- Brossart would be pretty well taken care of in the first quarter and then we would finish the game with the score being rather lopsided. Can't believe this thread has been active for almost a week now! Time to move on- JMO
  4. It was thrown out there that "if these 2 teams met later in the year the result would be different " and I'm assuming that meant that Newport would have an easier victory? This is what I don't get- why would one think one team would get better and improve and the other would remain where they were on game one of the season? It was a great game to start the season- well worth the $5 admission - the Mustangs almost pulled off the upset (going by preseason polls and rankings) it will go down as a loss and the Mustangs will move on to take on the Saints of St Pats and look to even their record
  5. Thanks for the kind words - thought it would of been closer myself - still need you to defeat Bracken and paris
  6. @Bow88 referred to Brossart last night on update thread as "worse team"- don't agee with that - Brossart continues to put a competitive team on the field -with that being said looks like Nicholas co plays both Bracken co and Paris at home- so the Brossart faithful will count on the Bluejackets to win both of those games?
  7. Good crowd already -kudos to beechwood -best pre-game music and just the right volume
  8. the good 'ole "educational move" (wink - wink) things seemed so much different just a couple years ago when Tricia was head coach of the freshman team ironically the same year her son was a freshman
  9. Just a question- were any girls cut from the teams ? Agree that there is 2 sides to every story and the truth usually lies somewhere in the middle but it sure seem like someone is way off in their side of the story. I will stay tuned in to this one!
  10. Given their somewhat short history, they usually manage to be pretty competitive with their opponents - could surprise a few teams this year- be ready -Go mustangs!
  11. What about her brother- is he still at HC?
  12. So they can go to the office and work during the games they are not attending and not need any hotel rooms? Saving the KHSAA money ?
  13. I like the 6 day format mentioned above- I agree that with the times listed above it will never stay on schedule- but here's an idea- don't empty the gym and waste valuable time in the afternoon the first 2 days- If someone wants to watch all 8 games I call them a fan and find no need to charge them twice for the first two days- let's be fan friendly for once ( are you listening KHSAA) A seat filled at an event is better than an empty seat- Ticket prices will probably rise next year anyway( they did at BB& T this year for the girls sweet 16 compared to last year 2016) After 2 games schedule a game 2 hrs apart to caught up like 8:30- 10:00 -12:00 1:30 - 3:30 - 5:00 -7:00 then 8:30 or 9 for the last game- You wouldn't run the risk of being so far behind in the evening I think it's crazy to waste time in the afternoon only to be running behind late at night- starting a scheduled 9:30 game at 11:00 is nuts Just my 2 cents!
  14. 1 Scott County 1 Bowling Green 1 Scott 1 Pikeville 1 Elliott County 1 Cooper 1 Ballard 1 Fern Creek 2 Scott County 2 Scott 2 Cooper 2 Fern Creek 3 Scott County 3 Cooper 5 Scott County TB 142
  15. If you want more central then I'd vote for Frankfort -all a tournament is there and I think it works out well-being there several times
  16. NKU- would love to be on a committee to help improve the experience - have some great ideas!
