This district doesn't seem fair. Covington Catholic hasn't played a district game but they get the one seed? Doesn't make sense. Then Latin hasn't played HC. The only team that played HC and Latin both is Holmes. & if I am correct Holmes has CCH scheduled earlier this season but didn't get to play it. I'm not sure how this will work but it looks like CovCath is getting a free ticket for the first round. If I was a coach I would be furious because CovCath doesn't play for the one seed it is just handed to them. In my eyes that's unfair.

This game had to be one of the worst officiated games EVER. Refs were calling everything against holmes. CovLat scored on a PK early on in the second half on a foul in the box. Then late in the second half a holmes player was obviously fouled in the box but no call. But, good district win for the Trojans.

I know this is late but he had gotten a concussion from when they played walton and was told they cut his jersey off at the hospital

Holmes Quarterback Desean Brumfield did play, he was actually wearing number 7 tonight.

I'm going to have to pick Holmes in this one. 3-2 is my guess. Holmes is a second half team so expect a slow start from them. Should be pretty evenly matched.

Holmes QB Desean Brumfield is coming off a concussion from last week against Walton (9-12), it will be interesting to see how coach Ben Nevels will approach this. Brumfield usually plays both sides of the ball. He's an outstanding player, I'd look to see something big from him. If Holmes continues to drop passes like they have Beechwood will win this one big. But, I have Beechwood winning this one 28-14

Thursday night Holmes (3-0-1) will face off against their cross town rivals Holy Cross (4-3-2) come to visit in a district seeding match up. Holmes is looking to keep their undefeated streak alive, while Holy Cross is looking to put a one in the Holmes L column. Who wins?

Heard Holmes scored game winning goal but ref said the ball didn't cross the line. Impressed by these Bulldogs this season so far, Thursday's game will be a true test.

Thursday you also have Holmes vs Holy Cross in a district seeding match up. Should be interesting with Holmes undefeated record being put up to a great test.
