I know this game isn't until Friday and HC has Dixie tomorrow night, but with NDA just knocking off Cooper away and this being the Last Seeding Game of the 35th district - Can NDA pull off the upset? Or does HC roll in this one and secure the 1 seed? Thoughts?
It's kinda like how (4) Duke beat (2) Virginia giving them their first loss and when the rankings came out Virginia was No. 3 and Duke was still 4! Even tho they lost to Duke their still ranked higher.
That's my comparison to Holmes and HC. IMO
HC deserves to be where they are at if not possibly top 5. But HC is the number one team in NKY right now with wins over both of the HHS's
Holmes is definitely where they should be. 21-1 with their lone loss coming from a rival team.
Holmes starts got in foul trouble early. They had 3 of them sitting late second quarter with two fouls I believe. Then Englemon sat about 6 minutes of the third with 4 fouls. Regardless, both teams over came the adversity thrown at them, and this was a very good game!
I agreed this years Regional Tournamnet will be very interesting to watch. All three have a shot at taking the title.
Will playing on a bigger floor be a factor in these games? Like strategy wise?
That's when I thought the game was over, she hit like 4 threes in a row. She can shoot lights out. But the lady dogs never gave up and I think that is what I like the best about them. Most teams would of probably gave up being down 12+ but the girls let fighting. I found it very interesting how the Bulldogs reacted when some of their starters got in foul trouble and with Tubbs sitting on the bench.
Does anyone know the fouls ratio? Because there were a ton of fouls called against holmes. Highlands picked some up late! They way the Bulldogs never gave up is relentless. They fought back against HC and did it against HHS. In all honest, the Birds are a team to watch out for. The officiating was terrible in my eyes. But this was a great game by both teams.
