  1. If that's correct, keeps us updated. I know you'll be there
  2. Holmes - picked up Ludlow tonighy for senior night but now the game isn't even on KHSAA's website. So not sure if it's gonna be played or not! If not, senior night will probably be the first round of the district tournament since it's at Holmes this year.
  3. Not permanently, but it'll be something they'll never forget!!! But I agree with 3Goggles
  4. Obviously this isn't the ONLY game they look forward to, but this game has a lot of meaning to them. Playing your last game ever at home is huge and very bittersweet. It is just one of the highlights every athlete will remember. It can be one of the best nights of their careers. Some senios get limited minutes, and by having senior night. You honor them and they get to start and play more! It has so much emphasis to (most) student athletes!
  5. Holmes plays Ludlow Friday Night for Senior Night. This surprises me since the girls have a game at CC the same night.
  6. It can go either way, there are some parents that care more than the kids do, but to a lot of kids it matters. But at this point it is what it is.
  7. School assemblies? That would not even compare to having a senior night. Senior night is the one night a student athlete looks forward to. It's your last time playing on your home court/field, it has a lot of emotion behind it. To not even have one would suck, bc it's one thing kids look forward to senior season.
  8. With that being said: The 9th Region Tournament Should Be A Good One!!!!
  9. That is impressive. He's an amazing ball player. I'm sure he'll have no trouble getting 2000 depending on the tournament. If Beetle can take the Bulldogs to state I think he could be a finalist for Mr. Kentucky Basketball
  10. That is correct, he got some Varisity Clock but broke out his sophomore year. Scored his 1000th in Decemeber of his Junior Season. 2000 is a HUGE milestone for a 3 year varsity player! Hope he gets it---which I don't see being a problem.
  11. With Grant County on Thursday and hopefully a Conner makeup for senior night left in the regular season, could Bolden score his 2000th before tournament time? If not, he'll most likely get it in the District Tournament on his home court.
  12. True! On the bright side, it looks like Beetle will hit 2000 on his home court! Unless he drops 47 Thursday night at Grant
  13. Thanks! Maybe Tomorow night for Friday the only open days they have
  14. I was curious to see how close he was to 2000 I knew he was close but didn't know it was that close!
  15. As of now tonight's game is still on. It's senior night for The Bulldogs! Bulldogs have three seniors James 'Beetle' Bolden Jason Covington Rod Avery If this game gets played, who wins and why?
  16. Very close; seeing them play multiple times is why I give Tubbs the slight edge. Both very great players & their only Juniors'
  17. Tubbs and Harris are two different players! I can see where you're coming from. Harris: all around player, she's quick and plays amazing defense. She has a decent shot but it's not the greatest thing around. She gets most of her points off fast breaks and mid range jumpers. Also she sure knows how to drive the ball and knows when to pull up for a short jumper. Tubbs: she's not as fast as Harris but she is an all around player too. She gets in the passing lanes causing turnovers. She is arguably top two in shooting on Holmes team the other would be (Parker). Tubbs had ability to drive, pull up, and pass like no other. I feel Tubbs would lead in scoring if she hadn't missed 2-3 games this season. Both players are capable to take POY, but Tubbs may have an edge. Also, you can't count out players outside of Holmes Team to take the crown too.
  18. I would have to agree with this, but could Tubbs be in the mix with Turner? Or even Graves from Highlands? The 9th has so much talent.
  19. I would have to agree, Holmes wins this one. Their depth will help them out in this one, they also have Parker who can stroke it from 3. Also, welcome to BGP riseandgrind03
  20. Holmes (26-1) head to Campbell County Friday night to take on the Camels (18-9) on their senior night. This is the last game for both teams before heading into tournament time. Who wins this one and why?
