That's a great question. Spencer has been having more and more success during the regular season but have never been able to do anything in the playoffs, often losing (badly) to lesser teams. I think they have one playoff win in school history. Unless they get the #1 seed and avoid John Hardin the first two weeks, the answer is most likely not far.

It's good to see Waggener on the rise after struggling for a long time now. Looking at the KHSAA website they haven't won more than 2 games since 2006. Hopefully they can get to at least that 3rd win this year.

I think Collins had more than 177 yards. It wasn't a whole lot more, because their offense is really struggling, but the CJ has Collins with 19 passing yards when one pass alone was for 61 yards. Their defense certainly kept them in the game, and holding Spencer to 13 for that long should've won it. They just don't have much on offense outside of Roseberry, and to win games in this district you're gonna have to score some points.

No surprise here. Oldham will have a few chances to pickup a W with some easier games to end the season. J-Town at home looks to be their best chance. South Oldham seems to be the favorite in their district.

Collins is now 2-3 heading into a tough second half of the season. Franklin County, at Central Hardin, North Oldham, at Shelby County, and at Anderson County. The Titans will be lucky to finish 5-5. As for Spencer County, they are 6-0 and just won their Super Bowl. The question is, do they let this be the peak of their season or do they continue to win?
