Maybe I should get a 1st grader to proff read my posts before hitting reply. I don't like the word over looked either I would like to say if you feel like a kid just isn't talked about on here or would like to just get her name out now is the time. I started this thread with 2 kids in mind and of course I forgot one of them. Taylor Burkhart (sp) Little Lawngirl from NCC, Taylor probably will never get on a first team and really has no desire to play in college or anything like that but she is what HS sports is all about. Over the last couple of years she has played about every position for NCC and seldom makes an error. She would rather sit in a car non stop for an hour and listen to her dad talk over pitching but she steps right in and gives it her all when asked.

I agree, I think they were just trying to inflate Haylee Smith's stats to try to get her on the first team next year.

As the season winds down lets here about some kids that you think have down well but are not mentioned alot on here. Anna Clements for Holy Cross, not sure she isn't one of the better pitchers but due to the lack of defense for HC no one ever knows. I can't remember to many players just having great days against her and I am not sure she game up a HR all season. She isn't flashy and doesn't throw real hard but she gets the job down. She pitched about a total of 6 games against the big 4 and I am not sure she gave up more than 5 to 10 earned runs. (that's a just a guess) Courtney Garrett for Dixie, if you did a top 10 for pitchers she may not get a vote but yet she is the most important part of the Dixie team that was inches from going to the finals. Conner's leadoff hitter, sorry don't know name so maybe she is talk about on here but Conner stuggles a lot on offensive with her not sure how they would do with out her. When she gets on she make it a lot harder to find Himes when she is up. That's a few I more add more later. If your a reader and not a poster and you feel like your child gets over looked a little now is the time to get her name out. Please share any info you can bc there is only a couple people that post a lot on here and we can't know everyone.

Damn these pics are good. I didn't see the play live but looking on at these it doesn't not appear to be an error, looks like she would have beat it out even if it was caught. Some great shots this week by you and the NDApanda exp on some really close plays.

In the worst kept secert since is Santa Claus real or fake yes it's true it is Kenndy Baugh to NDA next season. (sounds maybe I was the last to know, well besides Lawnboy) They informed Coach Morgan yesterday and they stated he was great about it, hats off to him. Baugh will give NDA another weapon next year, of course she took in the game last night and as Laura Finke was running wild on the bases I pointed out to Miss Baugh to pay attention bc that is who she will be backing up next season!! Kidding of course I am sure Coach Joe will find away to get both players on the field.

Congrats to Male, good luck at state. Hard to think any coach in the state does a better job than Josh Bloomer, love him or hate him he gets it done.

Its on who you taking? Hard not to go against NDA and I think they are the clear favorite here but NDA has not been ripping the cover off the ball either. If Conner's top of the lineup is on and can put some pressure on NDA's defense it could be a good one. I can't really see either team scoring many more than 3 runs so one or two plays could decide this thing. Seeing I stood with the NDA fans most of today's game and they did not supply any beer I am taking Conner 3-2 in this one!!

That just isn't fair for the NDA player in pic 3, if I was her coach I would have had no problem with her just quickly taking a uturn into the dugout to avoid the catcher there!!

Conner for sure had some nice base running and some real nice bunts, but they didn't play there best game tonight as they threw the ball around a little to help Dixie. Agree 100% on Coach Robby from the outside looking in it seems like he does a great job. I know not many Dixie or Conner posters but did anyone have a good view of the ball hit in the 6th. Did she catch it?

Yes good job by HHS, they will be tough for years to come.

Haylee did great and HHS wasn't able to get anything going, Smith only had 1 K today but kept them off balance, in two games so far she has fielded 12 balls hit or bunted back to the pitcher. That is according to the official score keeper (Who just happens to be my daughter!)

In the 6th while Conner was down 4-3 a Conner player hits a liner to CF, the CF makes a great effort on the ball and from my view it looked like a catch but the second base ump had a much better view than I and he said it hit the ground. That runner ended up scoring on a wild pitch, crazy!!

My sources inside BBHS stated to me that those two were not candidates, due to the fact that you have to win a regional game to apply!!

Nice pic but it doesn't help solve this mystery bc the ball was botched before she got to thrid so yes she would have been running full speed home. I will say this which may or may not make sence. If she has no careers homers before this ab I would give her a triple...if she does give her a homer...I say this bc I would bet my house this young lady will hit plenty over the fence the next couple years and nothing like your first career homer being hit over the fence.

Unless she's running faster than ball I would say she's out...a little strech there by the st henry defender may have gotten her the call.

Ok its Lawnboy he has accepted a 6 figure job at Brossart to be the Big Green Horse's personal driver (kinda like Hal McCoy has with the Reds). BGH will also receive unlimted foot and back rubs from LB. Brossart will also hand over all the stats to LB in order to clean up their image in that regard.

One of the best plays of the game came in the bottom of the 6th after NDA's leadoff batter started the inning off with a single their #2 hitter layed down a text book bunt to advance the runner...with out that bunt who knows if nda scores there.

Your probably right... I know one thing my kid thought hitting the pitch out was about as neat as anything she's seen this year...she was going nuts in the booth.

Well you understand if you get that kid you have to take the dad also....as good as she is...her dad can't call a pitch out correctly!!

After sleeping on it I kinda wish I would not have started this thread for one simple reason. I did not attend for rumors to swirl about NDA, even though one of there parents put me up to it! I do not want to cause any distraction to the final 4 teams. So to be clear I am pretty curtain that Knotts is not leaving Boone even if she does come dressed in NDA gear today to support a good friend and I am all but certain that Smith would not leave. Those parts were just for fun. There is a big name transfer who plans on making the switch here soon. At this time I can not confirm or deny that it is to any of the final 4 schools. I know its hard to believe a softball transfer would not be going to HHS or NDA bc they like picking off other teams pitchers but its possible! (had to get one dig in!!)

Who is Kennedy and what school does she attend now?

BTW this breaking news is seperate from the confrimed news in the orginal post. I have a real good source on that transfer!
